We were disappointed to find Gallery 66 closed when we attempted to visit on a Saturday in October. The hours posted on their Facebook page states that 11 AM – 5 PM on a Saturday, so we were surprised to find them closed when we arrived at little before 4 PM. Hopefully it wasn’t an emergency and that all are OK that are associated with this shop. Most all of the parking spaces were taken in front of the shopping center, and there were a number of people parked around back, so they probably missed more than us on that afternoon.
We did peek through the window to see some interesting pieces of art and I am sure that they look better if you are inside. Alas, our trip was not wasted as we went down a few doors to the Apple Tree Antique Gallery.

While I appreciate the original art and wonderful service at Gallery 66, I live in a small apartment and don't have space to add anything. Therefore, I enjoy stopping in to purchase some lovely costume jewelry and other items that I don't have to store.
