This was the best part of our trip! We loved kayaking. It was challenging but fun. The water was low so we got stuck a lot but that obviously wasn’t their fault. They were waiting on us when we finished.

Amazing trip kayaking down the river. They were very flexible as we had to change our departure time some. They were very kind and we enjoyed the beautiful river. Some of the kids had never kayaked before and they said they had so much fun. Loved to see the beautiful river, trees and turtles.

This is a family run business. They were friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable. They were waiting for us at the pick up spot. Wonderful experience and would definitely use this company again!

Great customer service. They were able to be flexible with my change in reservation. Super friendly! They actual kayak trip was amazing. A great balance between excitement/challenging parts and relaxing/floating parts! Highly recommend if you enjoy a little adventure!

We had an excellent experience! They have nice portable bathrooms and a shower. The staff is friendly and gives good directions. We will definitely use this company again!

Great experience! Smaller operation than some of the others we saw on the river, but that was the best part. Family owned and operated, they were so friendly. Loaned us a cooler bag and bungee cords to hold our stuff down, no extra charge for life jackets. We even lost the cooler they loaned us when there was a pile up going through "the chute" and they were so nice about it. Highly highly recommend Yippie Kayo Kayaks. You do have to have a reservation because they fill up. Down side has nothing to do with this business, the river is beautiful the rapids at the beginning and the falls are fun and beginner friendly..however the river was very crowded through that area. Once past the rapids it opened up and was a wonderful experience.

Had a great time! Family operated and were extremely helpful & super friendly. They offered a strap to tie down our bag and made sure we were prepared. Short van ride to the river and they were waiting on us when we finished. Will definitely use them when we come back!

Be sure to call ahead and make a reservation; don't just show up and expect a spot. We had a fantastic time! This was our first trip to McCurtain County, and kayaking was the best day of the whole trip. Luanne runs a great business. Her kayak rental is reasonably priced and she really takes care of her customers. She tells you exactly what to expect out on the river, which we appreciated! And the guys who work for her are friendly and helpful also (driving and loading kayaks). Fair warning (not about Yippie Kayo, just about kayaking this stretch in general) --Be prepared to flip over! But the water isn't deep unless you're a short child. My husband said flipping over was the fun part! Just hang on to your paddle and kayak when you flip so the current doesn't take it away! We're used to kayaking on flat, calm water, so this was a nice change of pace. Back to Yippie Kayo: they make it easy by taking you to and from the river. And they don't tell you to finish at a certain time--you can decide how quickly or slowly you want to go. It was great and we want to do it again!

My husband and I did some kayaking today. Luann was so helpful, professional and so sweet. We've used other kayak companies in Broken Bow and this one was by far the beat experience. We had a great time on the water and met the sweetest couple as well. The scenery is AMAZING! Watch out for the rapids and waterfalls. Not too bad but definitely gives you a workout.

Yippie Kayo Kayaks is the best company to rent all of your kayaking and canoeing needs. LuAnn is SO friendly and accommodating. We were in Broken Bow last week and LuAnn kept us posted if they were going to let the water out or not on the river (if so, you cant kayak the next day, it's too high) we weren't able to so she offered us an alternative to kayak out on the lake. She made a point to meet us where we were and take us to the right spot. While there are several places to rent kayak's and canoes from- you wont need to! Just call Yippie Kayo Kayaks!

Hello to answer your question I do not have any canoes or rafts, I only have single and double kayaks the single kayaks hold one person the double kayaks hold two I have an age limit of seven on this 3 mile float and the weight limit is 300 on the single kayaks and I believe 600 on the double kayaks I sold my canoes a couple years ago because people were having so much trouble on the part of the river that I do
