Impressive for sure and to put it simply! They have guns on display from so many eras and just about every origin to see! My son was impressed with the vast amounts flintlock muskets and the model gunsmith shop that allows one to see inside the inner workings of how some of these old firearms are made.

We had a great time visiting the museum. The boys were amazed that one person could have had a gun collection of this size.

This is a great stop if you have an interest in firearms or Wild West-type history. My favorite part of the museum is the noose collection. Probably not the best stop for kids under the age of 5 as it's not really geared toward the little guys. They may have added something for the preschoolers since I've last visited though, so please call and ask. J.M. Davis Arms Museum has an awesome, extensive collection and a boatload of history!

This place is a well-kept secret in Oklahoma....a fascinating and huge gun collection of over 10,000 firearms! I thoroughly enjoyed the historic talk from Mr. Wayne McComb before our group began the tour. He is quiet knowledgeable and so willingly answered our questions. Our group enjoyed hearing the history of J.M.Davis and how this museum began in Claremore OK.

This is open with Covid-19 and a fascinating sight, even if one is not interested in guns. The museum is filled with interesting historical artifacts from guns of many types and sizes to statuettes. Start your visit with the area of the original displays in the Hotel from where the displays originated for a good idea of the collection’s interesting beginning.

This museum has been here for quite a while. All kinds of weapons through out history.
It's awesome to be able to share with your children, the history you had learned when you were their age.

I'm far from a gun lover, but I couldn't believe the works of art that are stored within the walls of this museum and memorial. There are far greater things to observe than just weaponry. There are history artifacts and local history everywhere. I strongly encourage anyone in town to stop by. You surely won't regret it.

An overwhelming collection of arms in excellent condition. But also such collections as musical instruments, uniforms, Spurs, saddles, posters. Anything connected to the periods represented.
I especially enjoyed the hall of fame, notable claremore residents and places of historical interest. Well worth the visit.

I suggest go early in the day if possible as my husband and I got there at 3.30pm and had to leave when they closed, there is so much to see, my husband didn't get to see it all, It's a big place.
