You're in Oklahoma and want to visit a Route 66 museum, and then 2 come along at once... this one in Clinton, and the National Route 66 Museum in Elk City. We did both.
This one is more inside, with lots of information and displays about the Route and how things were 'back in the day'.
Really interesting and a great way to spend an hour or so.

My girlfriend and I bought matching shirts here, good service. Make sure that you get there early enough to see the free museum, it looked big

This was such a pleasant, well run little museum. They had music and narration at each exhibit, tons of authentic memorabilia, cars and a genuine roadside diner. It is appropriate for all ages, and easily accessible . The gift shop is well stocked and adorable. There is a fee, but it was nominal. The employees were super friendly and you can stay as long as you want.

Anyone who loves history will like this museum. Well laid out and lots of reading material. Gift shop is filled with great stuff also. Highly recommend stopping. Easy to get to and easy back to the highway. RV parking also

Fun stop on our cross country trip. Lots of neat exhibits to explore and a great gift shop at the end as well. Inexpensive to see as well.

Klein museum met ontzettende aardige mensen die vol enthousiasme vertellen. Entree is 7 dollar en je gaat per periode door het museum heen, in iedere ruimte druk je op een knop en dan wordt de muziek van die periode gespeeld. Wij vonden het de moeite waard. Op het einde kom je in een kleine shop waar je leuke souvenirs kan kopen.

This museum is organized to allow you to walk from the beginnings of the road to the current days. Lots of artifacts, photos, displays, and literature. Excellent movie available with good information. Gift shop worth a visit.

It was a good place to stop and learn more about historic Route 66. We had a good time and even bought some signs for the garage.

This is a good experience. The museum is well laid out, and well maintained taking you on a path chronology through the years. To enhance your experience, make sure you find the QR codes in most of the rooms. Not the largest of Rt 66 museums, but one of the nicest.

This is a small but very interesting museum. It outlines the history of Route 66 and has many nice exhibits. The price is low and it is not far off the road. It is a must do while on Route 66.

The admission is only $5 and worth much more. They have done a fabulous job of the displays and the attached shop is worthy of a good look too as very reasonably priced for every conceivable Route 66 souvenir you could imagine. Enjoy
