Went there....got a shirt!

Beautiful area I will give it that. The trails are not marked well enough we never could tell which one we were on. I get it is off road but the boulders in the road were torture. Suprised our jeep didnt have problems. We were not warned or guided. We had one of there "maps" that was useless. We had to satellite it to find way back. 20bucks a head to get in, another 40 for hoody and 20 more for a t-shirt
We didnt stay on trail 45min. There should have been more mud and less rocks. Not real fun.100$ down the drain. I doubt we will go back.

A great place to get away!

We have visited the ranch a few times, and brought our two four wheelers with us. The trails can get rough, so you need to know your limitations. You can easily side step the real rough stuff, and still have a great time. There is a small un-fished tank that i usually stop and fish at while we are taking a break, and its full of fish. The wildlife is plentiful and amazing! The staff at the park is small, but they are really great folks! Its inexpensive, and very easy to get to, right off I-35. Never a huge crowd on most weekends. A little on the primitive side, but thats the way we like it! Gas, food, and a Casino are very close, if you get tired of riding! Highly recommend this place!

Atv and Camping

A few of the guys took a weekend trip To the Crossbar Ranch. We had a blast. It was enlarge part because the hopeful soon to be new owners were there to show us around and guide us.
Signage is bad. Money was based on the honor system it seemed. It can be pretty rough on the equipment in places.
But over all a great place to ride and camp.

Terrible is an understatement

First of all, the City of Davis owns everything yet does not have the means to support it. Cross Bar's website is nonexistent. The phone number on the Facebook page calls Turner Falls Park. This is who I made a reservation through. For a side by side that doesn't seem to exist either. I confirmed my reservation 2 days prior. When we showed up, no one was there. Entry fees are on an honors system. I called 3 numbers over 20 times each. No answer. I had to call City Hall to be able to speak to anyone. Then he basically called me a lair. We never were able to ride and ruined a half of a day trying to figure that out. 4 wheelers only are available to rent and you can only ride solo. Since our kids were under 16 they were unable to ride. There was never any ownership of their mishap. Terrible excuse of a business.

Don't bring your dirt bike here, you will have more fun riding between railroad tracks! Extremely rough riding and poorly marked trails, If I was on a 4 wheeler or a Side by Side it would have been better. very nice camp grounds and picnic tables, clean restrooms, but not Dirt Bike friendly

Happy trails

I live just down the road from this 4x4 park. There is a lot of rough trails here but very fun. Its about 7 minutes to the main highway and about 15 total to get to town. But gas stations are only 8 to 10 minutes away. They have some (full) new rv hookup spots and a new dump station now. Nice restrooms and good camp spots too.

Absolutely Amazing yet dangerous.

First off, this location is in Davis, OK. I reserved 4 quads 2 days prior to Arriving from TX. When we arrived the signed consent forms, were given 4 brand new never ridden quads, and a 3 minute instruction. Some of my group have never ridden before so we weren't sure what we what to expect. There is a blue novice trail and red expert trail. Naturally we would take the Red. It started out easy progressively getting worse over the 16 miles we accomplished to shear insanity towards the end. Almost to the end I somehow got a flat tire which led to a bent rim. I trucked on to get to high ground so that i could call the office with advice on how to handle their bike, but no one answered. We trucked onwards and finished the course in about 4 hours after skipping approximately 7 additional miles of the course. In all, if you're new to this and are afraid of heights, getting dirty, or don't like getting hurt, definitely stay with the Blue Course. The only problem was the trail markers were very scarce and you had to guess for 5 - 10 min at a time if you were on the right trail. Also, there is one way in and one way out. If someone gets hurt, there is no cell coverage and it is surely a helicopter hoist evacuation.
