This place is always overcrowded, and expensive for what you get. Save your money, get a pass at Frontier City and use their water park. More bang for your buck.

This was a nice little water park. There was an issue with the water clarity the day we went which caused the deep end to be closed for safety reasons. That was fine but should be pointed out at the gate before paying to enter the park. All and all it was a nice experience for the kids.

We went Sunday 4 adults 3 children ..WE ALL had a blast ...Something for everyone ! We were planning on staying 2 hours $ & 1/2 later we left . Time got away from us it was so much fun.. Staff was awesome . Friendly , many life guards all keeping a watchful eye . I will go again and again 5 stars all the way

My 7 year old and I went on a Saturday. It was overall a good water park for younger children. Best for elementary aged and younger, which worked out perfect for us. There were plenty of places to sit and life jackets available of all sizes as well as many life guards on duty. They were very attentive at keeping children from running and the overall safety of the pools. It's very inexpensive as well, only 12 dollars for myself and daughter. I would recommend going earlier as it became very crowded around 2-3. There is a height restriction of 48'' to go down the water slide (unfortunately, my Little was just a tad too short), so keep that in mind. There were plenty of other places for her to swim and she enjoyed the small lazy river.

We took our grand daughters who are 6 to this place and we all loved it!!! It is clean, well run, and has a lot of various fun things to do in the water. The girls loved the lazy river and the slides the best.. Also it is very reasonably priced. We are thinking about getting a membership next year because my husband and I enjoyed it so much.

Pelican Bay is a nice water park designed for younger children. It is probably best suited to elementary age or younger. That is an advantage because younger children are not run over by teenagers are middle schoolers. This is mostly for moms with their kids, although I think some local daycares or day camps bring their children around lunch time. There is a concession with limited choices, which is ok too. At least you can get a snack or pbj sandwich or hotdog.

The water slides, which my 5 year old was more than mature enough to handle were not open to her because of height restriction, so the things available were limited. We tired of the park quickly.

We have driven by Pelican Bay for 3+ years now and had never gone. Today we decided it was summer and gosh darn it, we were going to hit the pool - with our 17 month old of course!
Admission was $7 for each of us adults and little man was free. They did check our bag to ensure no outside food/beverage was being smuggled in - but gave us a pass on the unopened bottle of water for little dude since it was 100 degrees out!
At 3 pm on a July Monday it was busy, but not overly packed. We were able to get some lounge chairs to set our stuff on. The water was warm and perfect for all. The kid zone has a lot of spraying water which was fun, the lazy river offered a change of pace and the water slides were decent (yes, I embraced my inner-kid and went numerous times!).
Overall we were pleasantly surprised and the experience was better than my expectations. Now - this is a public pool, so some of the characters and quality of people watching was right up there with the likes of Walmart!

Today was our family's first visit to Pelican Bay and we really enjoyed our time! We have a 3 1/2 and a 1 1/2 year old and it was very appropriate for their ages. The water was sparkling clean and the lifeguards were very friendly and attentive. We stayed in mostly the kid area, however the lazy river and whirlpool areas were fun too!
We lucked out and we were able to get a few chairs in the shade, so I suggest arriving early as we did. We didn't buy any food or water, but nothing seemed outrageously priced.
We stayed about an hour and-a-half today, which seemed to be just the right amount for our boys. Great facility and we plan to return!
