An outstanding railroad museum with multiple collections of countless railroad items. Best switch lock & key collection I have ever seen. Superb railroad china collection which my wife particularly enjoyed. O, HO, N and Z gauge model railroad layouts. Static display locomotives, cars and cabooses. Superb collections of railroad collectables and photos.

We had so much fun here!! The volunteers running the museum were awesome and so nice. They knew a lot of train history and were happy to show us around and point things out. They opened up the cabooses for us to walk through and view. One caboose is dedicated to kids and filled with toys, puzzles, coloring books, etc. Our little toddler loved it! The big Frisco engine is also open and you're able to climb into the engine and ring the bell. The volunteers were so kind to our little one and turned on the signals for him, as well as showed him all the fun bells to ring.
Inside the museum there are multiple model train sets that are very well done. There are TONS of artifacts and train memorabilia everywhere you look. They are getting ready to open up another building full of more train mementos and more model trains in May.
We'll definitely return! If you or someone you know loves trains, check this place out. At only a $5 admission it's a steal! Great job guys!

The Enid Railroad Museum is a hidden gem! It is full of railroad artifacts, actual RR cars, as well as several model trains!

We were lucky enough to get a tour from Watermelon, the guy that started the place. He is an encyclopedia of railroad knowledge and made the tour interesting and worth the trip. They have their own rail yard full of cars and equipment that you can climb on and all over.

Inside is one of the largest collections purely of train artifacts I have ever seen, almost anything you can think of involving trains, it's here. The best part is outside, where you can get up close to real trains, all with different stories and pasts. There are different things you can do out there as far as interactive, and certain limits that vary. The only downside is that the museum part is basically not interactive at all, which can be difficult with some kids, everything is behind glass. But there are absolutely amazing train sets, more expansive than anything i've ever seen. Overall, it is an awesome place to get an interest in the railroad and appreciate it personally, worth a visit!

My daughter and I visited for an hour or so on a Saturday morning. Neat little place with lots of memorabilia. Met "Watermellon" a long time conductor and got a personalized tour from him. Neat model trains inside and then many cars and equipment outside to see.

This is the personal collection of Frank "watermelon" Campbell who worked for the railroad for 44 years, then started this incredible museum. He served in WW 2 as well and is a great example of a hard-working, upstanding person with a wealth of knowledge to share!
He gave us a personal tour of the inside and outside (RR cars) of the museum and has a real passion and knowledge for all things related to the railroad.
He has an impressive collection of China that was used to serve diners on the various lines as well and a large collection of locks, signs, bells, track switches, books, model trains, etc.
Had a great time at this museum and highly recommend a visit!!

This place was an unexpected surprise. I ended up spending over an hour and would like to go back again. Was lucky enough to meet a railroad conductor from years ago named Watermelon. Lots of interesting stories. This place is great for all ages.

My brother is a railroad fan and I mentioned we should head to Enid to visit this museum. Wow...what I floored. First off, this is the private collection of museum director Watermelon Campbell. It os overwhelming the size of this collection...and it is an instant time machine back to a day when rail travel was the thing to do. The best thing about this museum was that Watermelon was there and the 97 year old former conductor personally took us around and explained everything and made sure we didn't miss a stick of what he had to show us. There is a rail yard with at lest twenty different cars, some you can go into. This place is amazing and I will go back because there is just so much to see and experience
