Yesterday was my second guided striper trip with James. Much like the initial trip, we had an outstanding time although the fish weren't biting as we expected. However, my 15 year old grandson caught a 10 lb + striper first thing and it was his first striper! He was thrilled as was I.
I also have an elderly father and it is likely the last time he'll be physically able to go on a guided trip due to physical limitations. He was complementary of James as we were departing the marina. I'm so happy James was able to attend his fishing needs for the day!
James is a great guide; very knowledgeable, helpful and genuine. His goal is to make the experience as enjoyable to his clients as possible. I'd recommend him to anyone.

My dad and I were lucky to discover James and Blue Water Striper Guide Service! We had the best fishing trip of our lives and can't wait to return. Thanks, James!

We went fishing with James and had a great time! He was very patient with kids and very knowledgeable! Everyone had a great time and caught some fish!

This was the third year that we went striper fishing on Lake Texoma with James Allen of Blue Water Striper Guide Service. As usual, it was a great experience and of course we caught our limit of fish. Catching our limit is not guaranteed and that is made clear up front. Having said that, James makes every effort to assure that we have the best chance possible. If one spot isn't working, we move on to the next until we hit an area with results.
While catching stripers is the goal, the real fun is just being on the water and having fun. James has been guiding for many years and is very knowledgeable about Lake Texoma, striper fishing in general, and just having a good time.
If you like catching stripers I would certainly recommend using his guide service.
