This is a yummy place to grab a meal and drinks before the game -- lots of TV's everywhere. Good margaritas.

As this mexican restaurant will be closing in a month i thought i would invite everyone who enjoys it as much as i do to make it down and say goodbye. According to management there the rumor is the owner is selling the place to make room for a three story parking garage for the campus corner bunch. I'll agree parking is always an issue there as it is an issue for downtown norman also, I will miss the place and we said our goodbyes this last friday

GREAT lunch on a June campus visit. I ordered the Jalapeño Bacon cheeseburger, and my daughter ordered chicken fajita nachos... Both were terrific. I also ordered the Lexus Margarita, and it was equally terrific. There were other, more expensive margarita options, but the bartender (Antonio) made a great $8 margarita for me. There's also a salsa bar to dress up your order, if you'd like, at no additional charge. There are TVs throughout, if you like to watch games while dining, but it's also not so loud (during a typical lunch) that you can't chat. I have to disagree with a previous patron... I did not find the menu "limited" at all. It's a college campus pub and grub, not an Applebee's. Just selecting from one of their burgers, or soft tacos, or the pulled pork sandwich provided plenty of appealing options for me, and my daughter was happy as well. This proved to be a great lunch choice for us!

My favorite Mexican place in town. You add your own toppings and salsa when you pick up your food. Tuesday is "Taco Tuesday" with $1 tacos and $2 chips and queso.

Chimp's is located on Campus Corner which is at the edge of the campus of OU. Its a happening scene for the college students and on weekend evenings it is packed. It is very busy for game days as well and they do not have call ahead seating. You order at the counter and they call you when its ready. The food was very good, but the menu was limited. Great frozen drinks. Very comfortable scene and setting with TV's to watch sports while dining.

As out of town visitors touring the Oklahoma campus we wanted to experience one of the local places for lunch. We stopped at Chimy's Cerveceria and were glad we did. We ordered a pulled pork sandwich for me and my wife and son split a steak fajita nacho. We sat outside on the shady patio equipped with misters and enjoyed the cool while we waited on our order. The sandwich was a very good mixture of pulled pork green chile and pepper jack cheese served with waffle fries. The nachos had fresh chips, grilled steak, beans peppers and onions with guacamole. We ate our fill and enjoyed the atmosphere.

as we go out on friday nights every now and then for dinner and drinks this is my favorite place for campus corner. We all love the fresh salsa bar with the fresh peppers on it, the wet up is different, first you put your order in pay for it then they call your name and you pick up the food from the other end of the counter, it works though. We got the side orders of green chilies and peppers and onions to go with our tacos and as the tacos are 99cents for happy hour the price for the quality can't be beat, the outside seating is nice in the summer also

We ate here before a football game. It's a campus area bar but they did a really good job with service. The food was quite tasty. Our server was good to offer a side salad from the taco bar as an alternative for me over fries. Being a picky eater I really appreciated that!
The wine choices were bad but it's a college bar... Beer, mixed drinks and shots.... I survived the low end wine.
The restrooms were kept clean despite the traffic all day. They were well staffed to handle the crowd.
There were a lot of televisions to watch earlier games.
If traveling from out of town and looking for a place to hang until game time this is it.

We didn't eat here, but did stop in while exploring the Campus Corner area for a margarita. The staff was friendly and the house margarita was good. We really enjoyed sitting outside on a warm night with the fans & misters running. Great place to cool off and talk with friends. Will definitely try their food sometime in the future.
