Depends on the time of day, there are a lot of people during peak times, so keep that in mind, plus the traffic is pretty bad downtown.

We stayed at Bricktown for a week on vacation from England and the only busy nights were Friday and Saturday nights, on which the bars and restaurants charge a cover entry fee. During the week was very quite with some of the bars closed on a Monday and Tuesday.

We went to Zios Italian restaurant by the river Walk and is an old building you can seat outside and enjoy a glass of wine the pizza was magnificent.

We paid 10$ for an all day pass.

The boats are open until 10 PM. There is a lot happening until past midnight.

Expect it to be busy for a New Year's Eve celebration. Other things in the area include the Oklahoma City Bombing Memorial and Museum. I personally think this is a must see while in OKC. It is the best museum/ memorial I have ever experienced. It is a moving and very informative, immersive experience that takes you through the days and weeks immediately following the bombing, including the story of how they put together the case and captured and prosecuted Timothy Mcvey. A must see while in town! BTW, I have never felt unsafe in OKC. Finally, I can't remember the name of the lake outside of town (maybe a 20 minute drive) but it's a very nice area with a number of good restaurants right on the water. If you have an extra evening, having dinner there makes for a very pleasant evening, with great food.

California

Kd's is basically come in what you are wearing. We were casual in jeans while other people were in their Sunday best. The taxi boat on the canals is nice. I enjoyed seeing the land run monument (from the taxi or land). Lots of pubs and places with patios on the canals, mini golf ect. I'm a history junkie and can't wait to see the cowboy museum and museum of osteology. Just depends on what kind of things you want to see.
