Family fun day!!!

Bought three season passes on sale which will include the end of 2023 season and all of the 2024. If you are close to Frontier City, buy season passes. Two visits and you would have already spent less than regular one day pass. Plus season passes give discounts on food/merchandise which is a plus since the park charges typical high amusement park concession price for food. And free parking!!

The park itself yes is showing signs of age but it is still a great place to take your family. Plenty of rides for kids and adults alike. For the adults, our favorite was the wildcat and for our 7 year it was the Frog Hopper or Frankie's mine train. Enjoyed the Wild West show under a shade structure.

The staff is super friendly and do a great job keeping the park clean.

Not all the concessions stands were open when we visited on a Saturday so we would have to walk back to a open concession to get our drink refills. Just a minor inconvenience. Probably weren't open due to staffing.

Overall a great park to visit for the family. Highly recommend coming if you are local to the OKC metro area. We will definitely be back to do the Silver Bullet (closed the day we visited) and other things we didn't do after our 7 hour visit.

Not worth it

Not worth the drive. It’s not open when they say they are, rides shut down on open days. Be warned, you will be disappointed

Frontier City Fun

We had a good time and went on some good rides. We saw shows and had a great. We tried foods all around the world and it was amazing.

Pretty good theme park

Pretty good theme park with most of common thrill rides including 5 roller coasters and a couple water rides as well as other smaller rides. Not a large park and it wasn't very busy on a Friday, so we rode all rides that we were interested in and even had to return to our favorites a second time. Ticket and parking prices were reasonable but their food prices were very expensive.

Jennifer B, we have been to this park many times. We have never had the experience you described. We have been to many amusement parks over many decades, including Ca and Florida. Frontier City is a wonderful gift to OKC. The food is fantastic. The season passes are a steal. They have to bring in enough revenue to stay open. Yes, they do manage their costs by not having every ride open every day. Only 5 rides open? Maybe on the roller coaster side of the business. It depends upon the interests of your family. This is a family park that serves families. We love it!

FUN AT FRONTIER CITY

My husband, 12 year old Grandson, 7 year old granddaughter and me was visiting Oklahoma City Oklahoma. It wasn't all that big of a place but the kids had so much FUN and it was very reasonably priced. I ordered our tickets online for $30.00 each It was worth every penny to see the smiles on my grandchildren's faces. THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES!!

Close the park

Literally could not be more disappointed in our trip to Frontier City Theme Park. A total of 5 rides were open, most of the food stations were closed, they understaffed and those working were incredibly lazy. Let's not forget they ran out of most foods in the 'few' open stations within 2 hours of opening. $17 for a corndog or chicken tenders and fries. Oh wait sorry we are out of fries. But that will still be $17. No the freak it won't because we are leaving. This was the 2nd Oklahoma attraction we attempted to visit over break and both were crap. Suffice to say we will go back to spending our vacations outside the state of Oklahoma.

Buyer beware.

Don't purchased any ticket online. I purchased tickets that I thought would give me "skip the line" privileges but after the purchase I was confused about the specifics of the level I bought. Honestly, the way the tickets are described feels a little intentionally confusing. I can't begin to summarize the amount of time I have spent trying to communicate with their "chat-bot" (completely useless), finally getting a phone number I could call only to be put on hold endlessly. I emailed and asked them to call me. I have missed their calls twice while I was away from the phone. Whenever I call back, I am on hold again.

Great Small Park

For locals this is a small park that is kinda expensive to go to but just remember it's a six flags park and it is a six flags season pass you are going to buy so if it is more expensive that is why. It's a great park with only 4 coasters which are great and it's nice to see a vekoma shuttle loop coaster one of the first launch coasters as well as their schwartzkopff coaster the tallest in the state. This park is great for kids and is in my opinion one of the best six flags parks because of its small nature. So before you say it's overpriced do some research into the park and if you are getting a season pass I suggest going to another six flags park during the year. If you are traveling to this park I would also reccomend going to silver dollar city in branson Missouri as well as six flags over Texas and six flags Fiesta Texas.

The Halloween decor and the season activity during the day/evening for the younger patrons was the best attraction in OKC. So much fun we stayed twelve hours!

Planning on going to Frontier City on July 2 (Saturday). How crazy will that be? My only other options is July 23 (also a Saturday). Coming from out of state so not a lot of options for dates. Which date is better? 5 kids ages 1, 4, 6, 8 and 10. I was leaning towards July 2 because they have fireworks and longer park hours and also logistically easier for our schedule. Thoughts? Thanks.
