Not worth full price. But worth the coupon. It was challenging, my teenagers would do again...I would not. Once is enough. But, great concept and gets people thinking. I can't imagine sharing a room with strangers...I would definitely recommend getting the private room.

Decided to take our daughter for her 17th birthday, she had been before in Houston and loved it. We originally picked another escape room in OKC but they were booked (should've taken that as a hint) bc we ended up at Trapped OKC. No one was there, we were the only ones. They gave us a beginner room, should've been an expert one. It was nothing but riddles, and the clues didn't seem to connect at all. Lots of locks to open! In fact after we failed the guy came in and told us everything. We could've immediately repeated the same room and failed. Our guy was a little rushy but friendly and they weren't busy at all. We did the Asylum one, and for the price the décor was very low budget. They also had a window that views the street outside, maybe to help with people that don't like being confined. It ended up just being a distraction for my group. I wouldn't go back unless some updates are done. I would also research the basis of the room, we are not good at riddles (or atleast the riddles in this room). Save your money, this place wasn't worth it!

I have done a couple of Escape-type rooms and this was one of the more disappointing. Firstly, the task was unrealistic to complete within the hour. Secondly, the challenges only involved locks - no other skills were challenged. So if you like locks, by all means, this would be wells-suited for you. Certainly the case was interesting and the room was great, albeit a little hot. Another downside is that it started 30 minutes late and only had one working pen. So my advice, make sure both pens are working.

This was my first time in an Escape room, These types of games have been gaining popularity recently so I thought id try it out... VILLA DEL ANGUIS: ROOM 218 was the room selected for play. If your studied up on "Demonology" you would have excelled, but for everyone else it was a confusing/interesting time to figure out clues. (Note: they currently have (3) rooms none with above 36% completion rate). This particular room had (9) locks to find the combos to from clues throughout the room. ***(FYI (1) lock uses (12) digits to unlock and its digital - super hard to unlock even if you have the code. make the staff show you how to unlock it before you play- this cost our team 5-7 minutes of time)***Clues were anything from finding a hidden key to unlock a box, breathing on mirrors, and decoding secret messages. They give you (3) clues throughout the game if you choose to use them. (you will use them) This game is more for the intellectual thinker .. not much of a physical puzzle room or anything like that.(I would have preferred that).. In my opinion you wouldn't make it out of the room without help ....All in all it was an ok experience, id do it again .... if someones paid for it .. LOL .. We (almost) made it out. We made it down to the last clue for the final exit door to win the game... Remember the 12 digit combo locks I mentioned earlier..The 5-7 minutes lost on that would have been difference of winning and loosing the game. Oh well at least we made it that far... just sad to be so close yet so far away.

Our party wanted to do an escape room while in town, so we checked out the list of rooms in the city. There were a couple locations we were interested in, but settled on this one due to the great Groupon price. Half of our group had never done one before, so we hoped this would be an enjoyable one so they would want to do another sometime in the future. As an experienced escape room player, I was very disappointed in Room 218.
Without giving away any spoilers, I'd say that having a larger group is not needed for this room, since it is very linear. There were several people standing around not doing anything while one or two people were working on the only solvable puzzle. Once that was done, then it was on to the next puzzle where one person would work on it while the others do nothing. It was not very enjoyable with a big group. Especially one big puzzle that I believe was poorly put together that we wasted an absurd amount of time on. The cluemaster was good at giving us an overview of the room and the backstory, but we were never told how to escape the room. So, when the solution to escape was discovered, it was a very anti-climactic ending. Also, as like most escape rooms, you get three free clues. But every clue after that deducts five minutes from your game time. If I'm paying for an hour of game time, I shouldn't be penalized because the puzzles are poorly designed and the solutions are almost impossible to figure out without hints.
We all escaped, but sadly, we all left pretty disappointed in the experience. If you want a cheap escape game, I would recommend this only if you get the Groupon. I don't think this is worth the full price of admission, I wouldn't recommend it to any friends, and the chances of me coming back are pretty slim.

My friend and I were looking for something fun to do on a Saturday night, and I mentioned that I really wanted to do an escape room. After a few quick searches online, we found TrappedOKC. We read lots of reviews, looked the pricing, and read about the rooms.
The first thing we loved is that we could go in as part of a larger group instead of needing to buy out the whole room; these ticket type helped us save a couple of bucks while letting us experience the sheer joy that is TrappedOKC.
We arrive 15 minutes early as instructed, signed in, and then was immediately taken to the room. The game master was a little skeptical that I had never done an escape room before period yet picked their hardest room. Challenge accepted!
Everything was explained to us for safety and to help us not waste time. The game master introduced us to OZ, our computer helper, and we were off.
At the end of the hour, we were so pumped we asked if we could go back into the room to see if we could beat it with a little more time. The staff said yes, reset the room (house rules), and round two commenced.
For two folks on a Saturday night in OKC, we spent $80 for two hours of extreme fun and mind-bending challenges. I would DEFINITELY send my friends and family to TrappedOKC!!!
Oh, we did beat the room with 8 minutes 55 seconds and 1 clue remaining; and we were the first people to EVERY escape from the room. 🎉

Trapped OKC made my night! We had so much fun in Room 218! Between the music, the friendly staff, and the OZ system that helped give us clues, we were blown away. I can't wait to go play the Christmas rooms!!

We had such an amazing time at Trapped OKC! The computer system OZ was so helpful and completely made the experience. After trying multiple escape games (some in OKC are not pleasantly nice nor do they look clean) I was thrilled at how nice the place was! We didn't make it out in time BUT we are definitely going back to try our luck at the Christmas ROOMS.

We did another escape a few weeks ago & it was so fun. The location of Trapped OKC is great with plenty of parking. It was very clean. However we had 5 in our group & they combined us with another group of 6 strangers. Really Felt was too many people in one room & prevented everyone from participating in the adventure. Lot of us just stood around. At the end when we ran out of time the employee came in to show us how the final puzzle worked to get the escape code she couldn't get it to work properly either. Price was reasonable but that room was not designed for a group of 11 people. I probably wouldn't go back to this Escape Room.

Disappointment is a understatement, the gamemaster is downright rude and unhelpful. You feel like they dont even want you there. Our gamemaster was a woman and she was rude, did not explain how it worked as we were a group of 10 that had never done it before. Please do not waste your $160 as I did............I never want to go back or recomend my friends, coworkers, or family. Such a great idea, we wish we would not have had such a miserable experience. This business wants your dollars but is not in it for repeat business or they would care about your overall experience. Also, they charged my debit card again after I had already prepaid. Didnt know that was legal without me authorizing that.
