We saw Huckleberry Finn’s Big River. This was the best play we’ve ever seen because the cast is the best we’ve ever seen. The play is written wonderfully with excellent music! Very nice theatre!! Nice area to walk around in if the weather is good and the shops are open. Great little ice cream shop right across the street.

A cozy theatre, very cordial employees, affordable drinks allowed in the theatre. The cast was extremely talented. Our only complaint is, the description of the play was sorely misrepresented.
We saw Head Over Heels. Imagine our surprise when the whole story line was pro non-binary, pro homosexual lifestyle, and anti men. I’ve never been to a drag show and it’s not something I’d care to repeat. Better descriptions, please.

First, I am not a frequent theater patron. I may hit one show a year. But this was cozy, maybe 450 seats, and good crowd. Parking is reserved across the street. Great location in the Plaza for dinner or after show drinks.

We visit Oklahoma a few times a year. At Thanksgiving, our son and daughter-in-law with their four children treat us to the showing of “A Christmas Carol”. I think this is the third time I have seen it. Every time has been and amazing performance by each one of the cast members. But the man that plays Scrooge is awesome. I also am very impressed with the actors that played the spirits. But all the actors are excellent. All around, this is an excellent play for family or a date or a school group, whatever. There were lots of children in the theater and the performance was so good that all the children were very well behaved. Also, it’s a lively theatre. The shows sell out quickly and the performance is only from November 29th to December 24th this year (2019)

Bright Star; woW- Superb production ! The entire cast stands alone as one in this musical elaboration. Greatness is explained by a team that over excels. If so, then this is total greatness. Elegant and faultless. Goes into my book as one of the top 10 shows I have ever seen. Thank you, Lyric Theater

I had so much fun last night eating at the Krow's Nest then onto see a Christmas Carol right next door at the Plaza Theatre. The theatre is beautiful and they have a private parking lot right across the street, which might fill up fast. We got there 1.5 hours early to eat dinner, which was also amazing, and there were plenty of parking spaces available. There is a little bar for refreshments, the lobby is beautiful and the bathrooms were very clean. Free water cooler.
A Christmas Carol was amazing! Just the right mixture of scary and Christmas cheer! All the actors and crew did a fantastic job! The set was beautiful and the props an effects were awesome! This is my first play through the lyric theatre and I can't wait to go back! Also I love the food in the plaza district!

Was very good and very well attended. We just got back from seeing a couple of shows in NYC and we are lucky to have the Lyric in OKC. Meredith Inglesby stole the show!

My husband and I attended a burlesque show at the Lyric Theatre, there was parking near the venue, the seating was comfortable, only complaint was, the building got very warm. All in all a great time, and we plan to attend other events there in the future.

Lyric is generally family friendly and great quality performances! My personal favorite out of all the performing arts venues in Oklahoma City.

We attended the last production of Monty Python's Spamalot with Oklahoma City students cast for all of the parts.
The actors were beyond their years with their acting ability. Several were high school seniors but most of the actors were younger to include one 8th grade girl with a key part.
The Lyric Theater is a small intimate place with quality plays for all to see. Tickets are affordable and all of the seating is good.
