Neat to learn about real history. Visiting places like this put in perspective what is real important. The building architecture is cool and the people working there are wonderful.

The New Milburn Museum has so much to see about the history of Pottawatomie County. All the display cases to the player pianos including autos showed so much history of different decades all in one place.

You won't spend a lot of time here but, it's worth the $2 entry and an hour or so. The building itself is worth a photo stop. Nice replica of historic downtown Shawnee with working trains. Thanks for saving the history.

Take a trip back in time. Excellent memories of years gone by. See the new museum...to open soon. Ken Landry has done an amazing job developing this history!

This was an unexpected find. I’ve lived here my whole life and never took the time to visit the Depot Museum. I was surprised to find it is a county Museum about some current towns and some towns that are now ghost. It even has a big ole bear. They are in the process of enlarging their displays and opening a 2nd building. But even with all the things to see and read about, you can still drive the train. It has a scale to size working model train and anyone can drive it. Wow. It was fun.

This is a wonderful building that makes it easy to imagine what it was like when people were traveling by train. The interactive area is wonderful for families with children, lots of antiques for us more mature adults. I especially liked the room with the model of Shawnee during train travel times. So much stuff in one building, a person could spend a whole day here.

You will enjoy a short visit to this unique old station. A real piece of early Oklahoma history. And you will want to take pictures or purchase some type of souvenir.

The museum is housed in a former Santa Fe railroad station. This is one of the most interesting buildings to be found. It is worth the time to stop.
