When we had some extra time, we liked going to look at the plants and simply relax. There are seating areas near water features that became our favorite resting places. Noticed some yoga classes and there was a couple of neat kid friendly areas.

Our family really enjoyed our walk around the garden. Donation boxes are set up, but there is no admission charge. Plants are available for purchase and prices are extremely reasonable.

Have visited several times. Beautiful gardens, always upgrades going on to improve. Nice in the evenings when they have live concerts.

My wife and I go there often just to unwind and enjoy the garden. The staff are friendly and always willing to answer questions. I believe it is a silent jewel of OSU.

It was part of the field visit for a summer course. Still, we enjoyed the beautiful views of the area. You can easily get there by university shuttle.

Great diversity of plants, like the Japanese garden and pond with colorful koi fish. No real playground there but kids have many things to enjoy there. Beautiful place for taking photos in the spring.

The Botanic Garden is such a joy to visit. I enjoy entering from 6th Street (south entrance) and walking to the main part of the garden. However, if one is with a person with physical challenges going to the entrance on Viriginia Ave (north entrance) is best. It is important to check the hours to see when that entrance is available.

This place is never dull or boring. Any time of year; there's something interesting to see and put on your wish list. Most of what you see is very do-able.

Blooms, butterflies, birds and bees abloom in this small but quaint botanical garden. Black Bear scat near hen house and fun paths to walk with great-nephew. Worth a visit.

The area's where I viewed didn't really appeared set up for that, but there are attractions for kids. I would contact the garden and ask if they have a problem with a picnic

There are specific hours when you can bring your dog. I believe it is early some mornings. The rest of the time only service dogs are allowed.
