No longer Safari Joes, new management and new name: Paradise Beach Water Park but still overpriced and could be cleaner. Regular admission is $31 for the day and you better get there when they open if you want a chair in the shade without paying to rent a VIP lounge. The lazy river, something that should be enjoyable and relaxing for all ages, has part of its feature closed, and has a violent waterfall that is completely unavoidable and unpleasant. Also, there’s trash and cups discarded along the banks of the lazy river that look like it’s been there awhile. Not enough changing areas, bathrooms are not air conditioned and like sweat boxes and stalls are extremely tiny - no great place for changing area if you need one and the floor of the front bathroom stays wet and disgusting. Food is ok but also overpriced. Thankfully they do have a water bottle filling station that’s free so that’s nice.

We came to Tulsa for a weekend getaway and had great time. My 6 year old loved her first time and we will surely come back. The staff was friendly and very attentive. I would surely come back and am considering passes for next season.

It's a locally owned waterpark in a small town. There's a petting zoo and kids can touch a reticulated python. There's also a basketball court to keep teens interested There's a couple of slides that you would see anywhere. It's good for a few hours on a hot day.

Was more than I had expected! Enjoy myself on literally every attraction at this park while watching the animals in the distance. Food was not that good, I was expecting a fair corn dog lol did not happen

Visited Safari Joe's H20 for the first time since Joe took it over from the old Big Splash that I grew up with. SUCH an improvement. Very clean, well staffed and friendly employees. The new rides and animals are great additions. Lots of options for eating and snacks. I appreciated the attentive life guards at the wave pool and the constant attention from supervisors riding around on the golf carts. There were no shenanigans that I observed, just a lot of kids & adults having fun. Food was surprisingly decent and typically priced for amusement parks. My only complaint would be the condition of the wave pool surface (needs a repaint) & the main bathrooms @ the front of the park (the only ones we visited) are in need of a remodel. My tips for ensuring a great visit:
~Read all the rules and information on their website before you go. There are great tips there!
~Take an empty Yeti-type cup and they will fill it with ice & water for you at the main snack bar for free.
~Wear water shoes (chacos, slip-ons of some type) because the concrete can be VERY hot!
~Go during the week... we went on a Tuesday & it wasn't crazy crowed. (It is August too so I'm sure that was also a factor for the light crowds.)
~If you plan to go more than once a summer, consider buying a season pass early in the year when they first offer them...it's a great deal!
~Read all the rules and information on their website before you go. There are great tips there!

Took my 11 year old daughter here for an activity while visiting Tulsa. She was very happy with the experience. Not nearly as large as say Oceans of Fun in KC, but still enough attractions to do the job on a hot summer day. Wave pool functioned as it should have, slides, lazy river, etc. The only complaint is something the park has no real control over...the concrete was so hot it blistered my feet walking on it for a few hours. That's just a temperature/climate issue. Lockers are available as are tubes to rent. We stayed for a few hours. We went on Sunday, and the pricing was discounted. I will make a suggestion, however. At time of opening, there were masses of people forming "lines" with no clear indication of where one should go. After waiting in a line and progressing foward for about 15 minutes, it turns out we were in the wrong line (season pass line) and were sent to the very back. I wasn't thrilled about this. There were no signs or employees directing the flow of traffic.

Yesterday, our kids were at Safari Joe's and witnessed a young girl (10ish) getting beat up and kicked in the head while her attackers friends cheered her on. Not one employee helped out, nor did any adult come to break it up. There weren't any Safari Joe's employees there to help her. Later, we found out her mother picked her up and filed a police report because a video was taken by a kid standing there watching it all happen to her. WE WILL NEVER GO BACK AND WE WILL TELL ALL THE PARENTS WE KNOW TO STAY AWAY UNTIL THEY FIX THE PROBLEM! THEY OBVIOUSLY DON'T HAVE ENOUGH EMPLOYEES THERE TO KEEP OUR KIDS SAFE!

I hadn’t been to this park since it was Big Splash many years ago. I was Impressed will all the changes. My two young nephews had a great time and enjoyed all the attractions and animals. Snacks and drinks are also reasonably priced compared to other parks ($3.00 for a small alligator ice, $1.00 for chips). The park was clean and well kept. I’m glad Tulsa has a great place like this for kids.

My family of 8 has purchased season passes for the last couple of years. I buy them early and get a good deal on the purchase. So, for me the park is nice for the price. Overall, my experience has been good. I have two issues, the wave pool and the lifeguards.
I will start with the wave pool. The mangers have told us that the wave pool runs every 15 minutes, yet it consistently stops an hour or so prior to closing. When asked management claims it is under maintenance. Perhaps it is and perhaps it is a coincides that the maintenance happens to be every time we go and hour or so before closing. The kids are trained to hit the wave pool first because they know it won't be operating later.
Now, the wave pool I could overlook. Indeed, I would not have taken time to write a review about that. What I can't overlook is how rude many of the lifeguards are to me and to children! I worked in customer service. I know how tough that business is! But that does not excuse the way the lifeguards talked to people! When I approached management about this, I was told,
"They get asked all day by kids when the waves will start."
Management was excusing the lifeguards behavior!! I don't care if kids ask a million times, you be polite a million times. No doubt it's annoying, but BE NICE!! It really got me when I asked about the waves (after we waited for over 30 minutes for the waves). Clearly, I am not a child. I am a PAYING customer! Yet, the lifeguard was COMPLETLEY RUDE AND DISRESPECTFULL! Management didn't seem to care, hence my poor rating.

Visited the park on a Sunday (timings are 12 to 6 with discounted price). Not impressed. Park is very small with few rides are not working. Not sure why they did not inform us prior ticket booking. Had only a couple of rides for toddlers which are not working. For this price, Kansas or Branson has a better ones. One other irritating thing is they dont allow outside food. If you want to take them anyway they charge 16$ (not sure why to charge this much).

I called and she said that they will open the gates for anyone wanting to risk it. Alot of the times people enjoy it on the rain. However if it starts lightning everyone will have to get out.

The wave pool is a walkin that starts very shallow and goes to 8 feet I believe. There are kid pools that are more shallow as well.
