This was our final stop on a wine tour in Oklahoma. We made a reservation for a tasting. The tasting consisted of the waitress bringing us a flight and a piece of paper with descriptions of the wines. The wines were not local, they may have been bottled there but they were not local wines. This was more of a trendy wine bar versus a traditional winery. I would not recommend this location as part of a wine tour. The staff was not friendly nor helpful in helping us to decide what wines to try. We were excited to try this place and disappointed when we left.

We stopped in here on Saturday night before an event to have a glass of wine. When ordering, we were told they were "out" of chardonnay. Really? Isn't this a wine bar? The server said "well, most people drink red wine"...OK, not off to a good start. I ordered a glass of sauvignon blanc and my boyfriend had the cabernet. We had tasted both those wines before so no surprises there...good solid wines. Venue is minimally decorated, with a concrete floor, so gets very loud. I'm not sure I would recommend this place as there are other wine bars in Tulsa with more ambience - gee and maybe they have chardonnay!

Sorry we were "out" of chardonnay when you visited our tasting room, due to the drought and other factors the production of chardonnay has been limited. We are a boutique winery, not a wine bar, so we are limited to serving only our wines. We should have our chardonnay available again soon. Hope you stop by again and we will give you a tour of our facility. Cheers

Went there with my family last August. Bought a wine testing session that included two wine glasses and a cheese platter. They were very good! (My dad and I are wine lovers and thought the quality was very good)
Unfortunately, we thought there was an actual vineyard in place, bur it turns out they only have a few vines there. It was nice enough that we took pictures, but I guess we were really expecting an actual traditional vineyard.
They also gave us a very brief tour of their facilities (they make most of the wine in their California vineyard and then keep it in barrels in Oklahoma).
Definitely worth the visit, especially since it's located in an older part of town that is being revamped, which looks very trendy.

What a hidden treasure in Tulsa. I am amazed at the quality of wine, the great service & fabulous events Girouard Vineyards offer. We have been a few times but the best time ever was a local trolley tour we recently attended . It was a fair price including tastings & historical tour with a local historian explaining the tour sights. Owner, Chris Girouard, spoke about the history of the vineyard & making of the wines.
The wines & venue are first class! We will be back!

We visited Girouard Vines for a trolley tour of the local Tulsa Architecture. I've tasted and enjoyed their wines before, but they were debuting a couple of new varietals on this visit and they were excellent. The trip started with a wine tasting that came with optional hors d'oeuvres, then we joined the trolley for a lovely drive past some of Tulsa's best art deco architecture. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and was able to answer all of our questions. We really enjoyed getting to know the others on the trolley with us. Perhaps if you don't enjoy group-style activities, you may be more suited for the Thursday night happy hour in their tasting room, as it can be as intimate as you'd like it to be. As a very social person, I found the evening highly enjoyable. Overall, we had a wonderful time and look forward to the next time Girouard Vines puts on another event like this one!

A friend set up a wine tasting and trolley tour through the winery for a few friends. We really didn't know much about it but said we would attend based on her persistence. To our surprise we had a great time. The wines were really good and the ambiance of the tasting room is similar to a Napa Valley winery. The wines were impressive enough that we purchased some for later. We were able to order some excellent small plate tapas style appetizers to enhance the wine tasting. The trolley tour of Tulsa was quite informative and the guide did a great job of adding the history with some levity to make the night very enjoyable. If you are looking for a few hours of fun then I highly recommend this night at Girouard Vines.

I've been there a number of times and always had a pleasant experience. They have a good selection of wines, from light white to bold reds, at very reasonable prices.
The downtown location has charm and acomodates private parties.
They recently introduced some new varietals which were developed by the owner's father. Well worth trying.

We were so excited for the Trolley Tour of the wonderful art deco architecture in Tulsa, and on top of that-wine tasting! However, after purchasing the tickets, $45/person I was surprised to only receive 3 tastings. No full glass. Only for purchase. The wine was not great-have had much much better. Our taste buds and whole experience was tainted by the obnoxious large group we happened to be paired with. A group of ~13 people, then our group of 4, along with another group of 2 or so. The whole time they were loud, obnoxious, disrespectful, and by the end-grossly drunk and spilling whiskey and wine all over the trolley (and us). It was a bad bar I wanted to leave, but unfortunately was stuck on a trolley with them. I feel the whole experience could've been different, but because of a large group of entitled, disrespectful people who didn't seem to care about other people on the tour-it was horrible.
