The garden center was just lovely. The greenhouse had some interesting plants; it's not as big as it looks in the pictures. I also went in the unfurnished mansion. There are pictures in each room to show what it looked like "back in the day" with furniture in it.

Three children ages 11,13 and 17 enjoyed making catapults and learning about the hydroponic system. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable! We had a great time and plan to attend the camp again next weekend!

It was a beautiful day to visit the Tulsa Gardrn Center/Woodard Gardens/The Teaching Garden. Beautifully landscaped in so many interesting and inspiring ways, with intoxicating colors and scents beckoning around every turn.
I loved watching the honey bees darting in and out of the blossoms on this catnip. (See attached photos) I wish the photos had been clearer. As it was, they stayed only a fraction of a second on each bloom before zipping off to the next. Add to that, my screen was in full sun, so for all intents and purposes, I was taking photos blind.
Most of the park’s rose garden was destroyed by either a pest or virus - I didn’t get a clear understanding of which. But, the roses that remained were even more lovely for not needing to compete. Even with the few plants that remained, the scent was so sweet.
The koi pond was perfect. The sounds of the various waterfalls was such a relaxing background to this part of the garden. Visitors can even feed the koi, many of which are quite large.

Small intimate garden, impeccably maintained with lots of great ideas for your home garden. In addition to beautiful landscaping, there is also a veggie garden, an herb garden, koi pond, butterfly garden and greenhouse.

This is a special place near the Tulsa Garden Center. It is designed as you walk through it to learn about different plants and combinations that would grow well in the Tulsa environment. You can learn from the well designed spaces about plans you might have for your garden.

This place is nearly always empty and it's a stunning small garden oasis complete with beautiful koi pond. Bring a bag lunch and sit in the garden...can't get better than that to wipe away the morning stress and prepare for the afternoon.

Truly a treasure tucked inside Woodward Park! The entrance is lined with beautiful plants, flowers and an arch of trees. Inside a patio with café tables and chairs to stop and read, rest or chat. Paths take you by waterfalls, beautiful garden pond with Koi fish. This is lined with many types of plants, flowers, bushes and always someone close by to enthusiastically share their knowledge of this garden. There is an educational section of gardening without chemicals with all types of vegetables and fruit. Yet more patio gardens by the small indoor giftshop. They love to teach you "how to". I love to come often!
