Upon arrival was unsure, but gave it a shot and very glad we did. Very low-key and worth it. Truly a great local surprise. If you are looking for something to do, or just a date night this is the spot. All I can say is give it a shot! I believe you'll be happy with your choice.

I was looking for a fun group of people to connect with- This was it. I took an improv class and occasionally went the weekly performances. It was a lot of fun. The owner is engaging and cares about his craft, the performers are everyday people honing the comedic skills, and the atmosphere is casual/fun.
This place is great for locals and those folk traveling through. I would suggest only adults come here as some of the material can be too mature for young audiences. Otherwise, go check this little gem out.

Looking for something different and fun to do for my birthday yesterday and decided to go to a comedy event at the Comedy Parlor which was a "debate" between perennial mayoral candidate Paul Tay and Laroy (who is a local funnyman whose Facebook page is "City of Tulsa Parking Enforcement"). Tickets were $10 and there was a nice selection of bottled beers (no wine). Upon entering the place, it is very laid back and I was afraid we'd spend the evening on metal folding chairs, but...upon entering the auditorium, there is not a bad seat in the house! ...And the seats are very comfortable, theater-like seats. The performers were very funny and the portion of the show where the comedians ad-libbed to pictures of news items was hysterical. I have not laughed that much in a long time. The "debate" was very, very funny and after the show we hung around for awhile talking to the performers. They had another show scheduled around 10pm called "Hammered" in which the performers do a show after imbibing a few. This is very cheap, very good, fun, entertainment and I only wish we'd discovered this sooner.

They usually do two shows every weekend night and it is really fun just to pop in for a show and then go hit the bars afterwards. The comedians and improvers they have there are hilarious and its not like some cheesy comedy club that has a drink minimum, it's like a small theater so that's really cool! Go there if you are in town for the weekend!
