We took a drive to the lighthouse. Drive was nice, ho hum when we got there. The lighthouse was also closed at the time.
I actually enjoyed the view from the other side of the Coquille River, looking North towards the light house in the distance best.

I love this lighthouse... I am going at low tide next time so that I can walk closer! Apparently there is a hike for a better view, and Lighthouse Beach from low tide.

Beautiful Lighthouse with several places to view from. We first saw the light house while in Old Town Bandon. A small drive and closer to the Jetty you can get a better view and see the bar where the river meets the ocean. It’s a beautiful sight. I recommend seeing this treasure. We have traveled the entire Oregon coast and the lighthouses are a high point.

We were staying in Bandon for 2 nights and visited this lighthouse during our time there. Parking and day use are free but the lighthouse was closed when we visited at around 10:30 am on Sunday, July 25.
This is no longer a working lighthouse and sometimes when the fog rolls in, you can't even see it from Bandon.
If you are staying in or passing through Bandon, it is worth a quick stop.

This is one of the most iconic lighthouses on the Oregon Coast. View it from the South Jetty or go to the North Jetty and climb the stairs to the top.

Easy to access via Bullards Beach State Park, this was a "must see" on our southern Oregon coast vacation. It was locked up on Thursday when we visited, but we were told by locals that they are opening the lighthouse up on weekends. It is no longer a working lighthouse, and it certainly shows some wear and weathering...to be expected on the rough coast. Still, it is very photogenic, easy to get to and to maneuver around. Very pleased we had our time here.

Drove out to see this lighthouse, took some pictures and walking on beach. If you like lighthouses stop by and take a look.

Unfortunately closed due to COVID. Still has good views of the coast and great sunset shoots. Adequate free parking.

Located on the Coquille River near the ocean & jetty. If you like lighthouses, this is one to see. If you park in the lot by the jetty you will get nice views of it & good place for pictures.
Due to Covid-19 the lighthouse may be closed to tour so best to visit Traveloregon.com for status.

There is parkimg nearby and a paved walkway right up to the lighthouse. There shouldn't be any problems getting there with a walker.

To park, yes. Turning around maybe. It depends on how big of truck and trailer and how many other guests there are. However the road it is on its not a busy road and banking into the driveway or out shouldn't be difficult. I would call Shirley and talk to her about it. I don't think it would be a problem.

You can not park close to the Lighthouse, single lane road. There is a wider lot further back, but the parking can be full. The campground is nearby, maybe you can leave the trailer there.

I would agree with the others who stated at was at least a mile off of 101. Follow the road until the end which will take you right to the light house and beach. There is parking next to the light house which will allow you to pop in for a tour or simply a photo op. If it is raining, you can enjoy an ocean view from the comfort of your car.
