Great place to camp or just to visit. Hard to get Reservation due to popularity. There are trails to walk and you can rent a houseboat or just a boat. Renting a party boat is a great way to spend a day with friends

Took my employees out to have a work get away! Jason is a great instructor. Everyone had a great time. Next spring we will do it again!

Amazing experience. First Jason accommodated our large family even when we were late arriving because of traffic. Everyone still had an opportunity to go even though we were well past our scheduled time. Jason was amazingly patient, especially with the light weight women who have a harder time (it was much easier for the beefy guys). A blast for all. Everyone wished they had more time and wanted to go again on our next visit to Bend. One minor note. The smaller feet of the girls "swam" in the rubber feet of the fly board.

Lake Billy Chinook is so beautiful, and flyboard of Bend is so much fun. Jason is a very good instructor. His goal is to get you flying, and his success rate is 100% five stars!!!

My teenage boys and I had a great time and Jason is the most patient instructor and guide. We're not big water sports enthusiasts and we all got up within minutes. We're definitely doing this again next trip and I recommend to everyone thinking about trying.

When we were in the Bend area, we wanted to try something different other than the standard lake activities such as SUP and kayaying, so flyboarding came to mind. We booked the adrenaline hour for two online, and then drove out to Lake Billy Chinook - about 40 minutes from Bend - to try it. From the start, Jason was extremely informative and patient. He explained everything to us even before we went in the water, so we had a good idea what to expect. My daughter went first, and she was amazing. With Jason's help, she was able to get about 10 feet above the water in about 20 minutes. She then started to circle his craft and eventually moved on to porpoising. Then, it was my turn; needless to say, I wasn't as successful as my daughter, but it was still fun. Also, I was a little nervous as I am not a huge fan of going in the water, but I felt completely safe in Jason's hands. He has a lot of experience in water rescue, etc.
I highly recommend this activity. This is a lot of fun to try, and Jason is the best to do your first flight.Thanks, Jason! We'll be back next year!

Flyboarding & Hoverboarding with Jason Hardy is definitely my new favorite water sport!!! Jason is the most incredible instructor. He is extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of the sport, and definitely adds comfort knowing that he is a paramedic as well. His patience, attention to detail, and encouragement make it an absolutely EPIC experience!
Lake Billy Chinook is such a beautiful place, tons fun for the whole family!

Spent dad's 60th birthday trying to find something fun, new, and a little adrenaline releasing to do. Even though most of the gear was already stored away for the winter, Jason, the great guy that he is, cancelled his prior weekend plans to come out and host us for the afternoon. It shows a lot about how much he cares for the sport and goes the extra mile to make sure you have a great time. Needless to say, Jason's the man.
As for flyboarding itself - after seeing videos online, I wasn't completely sure that dad or I would even manage to actually get out of the water. But it's a lot easier than I thought! Jason's a great coach and he'll have you out of the water in no time. Just do a couple squats and a calf workout at the gym before you head over :) Seriously though, it's a ton of fun and nothing like I've ever done before. It's incredibly safe too, and they'll provide everything you need to have an awesome flying experience. If you're in the Bend area and up for a little adventure, give Jason a shout. You won't regret it!

Flyboarding with Jason/Flyboard of Bend was an INCREDIBLE experience. Jason is a great instructor, always encouraging...and most importantly...he makes you fly! I have had many adventures over the years...whitewater rafting, skydiving, ziplining, bungee jumping, etc...and if I could only pick one to do over and over again, it would be flyboarding. My sister and I got the Adrenaline Duo package and it was perfect for our first time. If I lived closer to Bend (I am on the east coast), I would be there at least once a month if I could. A MUST DO, A MUST DO , A MUST DO!!!! :D I parkour and am very adventuresome and this is one of the best and funest things I've ever done in my life! Jason is a cool dude and great instructor! Thanks Flyboard of Bend
