Pretty park to take a walk in and view the river. Trails connect for a longer walk if you want.

Very pretty park to stroll around. It connects with a nice bike path that goes all the way out to the Old Mill District. The path is multi use but there are no cars on it and it runs all along the river.

While on a visit to Bend in June, I took a leisurely walk in Drake Park on a weekday afternoon. The neatly maintained walkways and the beautiful Mirror Pond made for a pleasant afternoon. The bridge crossing the pedestrian Deschutes River is lovely. There was plenty of free parking on the street. Drake Park is a good community park to visit.

The park is located within easy walking distance of downtown Bend and provides a relaxing escape from the bustle of the crowd. Take a walk along the river or settle on one of many park benches.

Please stop by this place to people watch, drink your latte, meet a friend, eat your lunch, take the dog for a walk, sightsee the lovely homes across the pond, etc. Lots of shade and many tables and benches are spread around.

Drake Park with the beautiful Mirror Pond is a great place to enjoy a peaceful afternoon. The one drawback is that there is so much duck and goose dung all over the grass. We had to leave earlier than we wanted because our little one was trying to pick it up. The older boys enjoyed some football fun and it was just good to be outside in the fresh air with beautiful surroundings.

This is a nice park to go on a stroll after dinner in one of the restaurant located around the park. The little lake has beautiful houses and trees located around. Stone path makes it easy to take a stroll. Worth a stop fi you are around.

There is parallel parking all along the park, plus a large lot at the top of the park near the down town shops. There is also a 5 story parking garage about 2 blocks to the east.
