Watch out! This lady may accuse you of stealing. What an insult to a couple that find stealing, lying, and cheating morally indefensible. Then she has the nerve to say God bless you verses apologize for her inference that we stole. This was the first time in my adult life that somebody accused me or my wife of something like this. What a shame that she made this accusation... This wasn't the first time. There is at least one other review where she accused a customer of the same. Fyi - people who steal most likely would not post a review. They would probably just be happy they got away and would not put their name out there. This story has to be told as I find her actions rude and insulting to a couple that believes stealing wrong!!

I have no knowledge of this incident. I am truly sorry if this was a mistake on customers view of what was said? I would never accuse anyone of stealing. How traumatic for you and I am sorry, may have been a mistake in which store this happened? Hope your next trip to the Oregon Coast will be more pleasant. This store was so beautiful and very clean with so many treasures, but the best treasure of all were the owners and the lady that worked there. They were so nice and helpful, helping us find a motel when EVERYWHERE was packed for the 4th of July. Awesome people and we not only highly recommend this store but we will also return to visit ourselves!! We really can't say enough good things about this store and the owners!! Thank you guys!!

Purchased a set of 5 hand painted (fine china) plates at a fair price. Had a pleasant conversation w owner and can recommend this antique store as worthy of visiting when in Brookings, Oregon. Mark K. ~ San Diego

The owner is rude and obnoxious. Will not wear a mask. Asks if you are a Trump supporter. Even if I was, I would never want to be associated with this horrible place. The ignorance and insult is overwhelming. She scares young children!

Untrue and very mean comment. I am sorry that you disagree politically with me. This is a free country and you are free to shop anywhere you please. But trying to hurt my business by telling and observing things that are not factual is not a kind thing to do. I feel sorry for your anger, I will pray for you. God Bless

the owner kept standing right in my face, and would not stay back have you heard of covid 19??? need some better customer service, went to pay and don't take credit cards, CASH ONLY, had to go look for an atm, decided it just wasn't worth the time to go back, when you go to spend $450.00 you would think that they take cards, but you would be wrong just like i was. good luck

I, my family and volunteers always wear a mask. I am sorry that you had a bad experience, it would never be my intention to upset any customer. I know that tempers, political differences, various & changing rules allude to unkind comments from the stress we are all under. I hand out and offer free a Christian daily devotional booklet, reading it helps many people to handle the stress we are all facing. I would hope that you do not carry any bitterness over your experience in my store. God Bless

Had not been in an antique store in awhile, and forgot you need some extra time to find the things you want - because they could be almost anywhere. But this store really has a great selection.

Fun shopping experience! Friendly owner, intricate window displays, affordable prices, chock full of antiques for every taste.
Clean, lots of signage, off-street parking, a must see for all ages in Brookings Oregon.

Wonderful little house of treasures.
This place is absolutely packed with unique and interesting finds. I recently purchased a delightful set of French porcelain dishes. Highly recommend.

Goldilock's is a shopper's delight! Linda sells almost everything an inveterate antique and collectibles seeker could want. But, if it's not there, she'll take your name and contact you when she finds it! Be sure to stop in when you have plenty of time for there's lots to see, and it's artfully displayed. Great fun!
