This was a fun course. We played 3 rounds there. The scenery was spectacular. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Sweet course for a small town, not to many towns have a course this nice for the size of Brookings, it’s a challenging course, the fairways don’t cross each other so there’s challenges on most holes which adds to the beauty of this course, The Early’s have put a lot of blood sweat and tears in this course and the results show ! I highly recommend playing here , you don’t have to hit long but you better hit straight!! Nice staff , lunch is good!

I've been playing Salmon Run for nearly 20 years. I've never seen the course in BETTER shape. The staff and crew's effort is really paying off. If you haven't been to Salmon Run in a while...come play it again. I love the condition of the greens. Bring your BEST short-game. You're going to need it!

A challenging 18 hole course you will enjoy. The grounds are in great shape - greens are great too. Each hold present a different approach that require control and distance.

I played here about a year ago while vacationing with my two sons, I played by myself and the people were all just the nicest as can be. The course is short for a "full length" course even by my old man standards but has many very nice holes. I happened to play well that day until I hit the back side where about 3 of the first 4 holes you couldn't drive a car into the fairway much less a golf ball, just way too narrow and steep and wooded when you miss the fairway. the rest of the holes were just about right in length and space and some had very challenging features. I swore I'd play again when I came back but when I showed up last month they had changed their pricing model to a semi membership and much higher daily fees, I guess they have to soak the tourists in the summer months in order to subsidize the rest of the year but either way I couldn't justify spending what they wanted for a just a couple of hours on my own. Also I had pulled a muscle in my back lifting my wife's travel bag so enjoyment was going to be iffy anyway. I'll take another look when I visit again and will probably play here regularly if I move here in retirement.

Thank you for wanting to come back to play again. We do offer memberships but also have daily play rates as we are a municipal course, owned by the City of Brookings. Our fall/winter rates are always lower than the summer rates and we also offer many daily specials including discounted times for seniors, twilight, juniors and visitors playing with the Men's or Ladies Club at Salmon Run. Please visit us again and we'll be happy to discount your green fees as compensation for the confusion.

I read that Golf Digest named this course one of the most beautiful and challenging courses in Oregon. Now I can see why. No matter what hole you are at, the scenery is gorgeous. Lots of water features too. Really enjoyed it,

Our non-profit had a golf tournament in June at Salmon Run Golf Course. It is a beautiful course and is a lot of fun to see wildlife. I took several pictures a few weeks prior to the event and was taken back by this treasure right here in Brookings, OR!

This was a "fill in time" golf outing. Its tough to call this a golf course but rather maybe titled "a walk in the fields"?

My husband has been a member for several years and plays at least twice a week. Loves it and never tires of the beauty and the guys he plays with. Lousy manager gone now and Gary and Val Early bringing the club back to its wonderful establishment! Give it a shot!
