We always have a lovely time at Harper’s, quaint and historical Brownsville’s first wine bar. Proprietor Michelle is always so hospitable, knowledgeable and efficient, along with her staff (thanks, Adrienne), and such a great chef. We have never been disappointed with our choice and quality of the tapas selections and wine choices. Thanks for being there! I hope you know how valued and appreciated you are...

A lovely spot for small plates and great wine, cider, and micro brews. Michelle, the owner, is a terrific cook and host. She knows her wines! It's the best little hideaway in linn County!

I am a local resident of Bville so I was thrilled to see a wine bar in town. The staff (owners?) are great. They are friendly and know their wines. Also, it's great getting small plates of food. They are small in restaurant terms, the portions are the correct size for a normal adult, you just don't take home leftovers like you do in many other restaurants. My only complaint is the size of the bar is very small and I feel crowded in there. I wish they would find a bigger space and then it would be perfection!

Wife and I stopped by on our anniversary and so glad we did. Loved talking to the owner and drinking a dry Spanish Rose while eating a charcuterie consisting of marinated mozzarella balls, Gouda slices, blue cheese, baguette slices, red grapes, prosciutto, almonds, and pistachio nuts. We loved this place. What a gem.

Worth the stop, drive or extra time in town. Amazing wines from an amazing host, Michelle is so great on many levels. I have been here many times and the wines suggested when I ask fit me perfect. The food is out of this world with a unique delicious touch to each dish that makes it something you have never tasted but would come back for again and again. Bottles for purchase, great beer and cider, fantastic atmosphere and conversation. I can't say enough. And that isn't even touching on the special events like Friday dinners or brunches, live music night, I could rave forever about this place. Make sure to order the figs.

Adorable Brownsville has been a little wobbly over the past few years as small shops come and go. There is no more adorable and authentic town for historicity than this 19th century gem. A fabulous new addition to the town is Harper's wine shop, making a destination for any wine lover. Small, cozy, wine bar. warm and attentive owner, occasional live music, tasty tapas.

You know that feeling when you walk into a place and you just know "this place is special." That is exactly how you feel the moment you walk into Harpers. Yes, it is small, but you can feel the love and care in every single detail. Chelle the owner was amazing. She catered to those who knew their wine in our group, and to those of us who are just learning about wine. She listened to what you were saying. The food was simply amazing. It was tasty and well thought out. Definitely worth the drive.

Loved our special time at Harper's Wine House in Brownsville, Oregon! Wonderful ambiance and tasty small plates paired with great wine! A must see and a must dine experience. I would go back in a heartbeat.
