Fantastic atmosphere, excellent & knowledgeable host! We had a great wine tasting & tasty food, chosen from the store. Our host had great suggestions for pairing the wine & food. If you're looking for a casual, comfortable & knowledgeable experience this is a must!

This was such a fun place to come wine tasting! They have a huge selection of wines to choose from and the host was so accommodating to find a wine all five of us girls liked. We picked out snacks from the coolers out front that they cut up and served on a platter for us to eat while we were tasting. What a great place to visit!

We were in town to check out the Republic of Jam's post-Christmas sale when we happened upon this little grocery/wine store. The store has some lovely snacks -- things that I hadn't seen before like toasted cacao beans to be eaten while drinking port -- as well as a good selection of wines for any taste. The proprietor was extremely personable and very knowledgeable...I just wish I could remember his name! He had interesting information about the wines and was fun to chat with. In the end, we left with two bottles and a selection of snacks, all of which proved to be tasty. We try to visit Carlton several times a year, so I'm happy to include this store as one of the many reasons to come back!

This place is the passion of it's owners, and it shows. One side is a boutique of beautiful French inspired luxury items including jewelry, soaps and lotions, clothes and other wonderful little finds. The other side is a lovely little wine shop/tasting room and upscale market with delicious locally sourced cheeses/meats/ veggies and fruits as well as upscale pastas, breads, olive oils and sauces. Reminds me of a tiny Oakville Grocery in Napa. Worth the stop.
