What a surprise. Even though it was drizzling we enjoyed our walk around the hatchery to the sturgeon viewing pond. I had never seen fish so large before. It’s a trip for any Age.

Don't miss this incredible adventure. It's great for all ages. There's plenty to learn from the displays, or just walk and enjoy the quiet serenity. The sturgeon will entertain you either way! Free parking and no charge for this fabulous adventure.

Never knew much about sturgeons, other than as a source of caviar. Huge guys! They grow fairly rapidly the first 4 years, after that only about 1/4 inch per year. Some of the fish were over 8 feet long. Amazing. Don’t miss this if you’re in the area.

This is a stop that you will want to take if seeing live fish from trout, salmon, sturgeon.. For FREE!! Pets welcome on a leash. There is a gift shop with coffee & snacks. The beautiful sites are everywhere you look. There are picnic tables and free parking. You can also get fish food to feed the fish if you'd like.
Overall a Great stop that is worth your time it sure was for us.

I've never seen live Sturgeon and the ones they have here are HUGE! The interpretive center is excellent as you push buttons to hear the history.

We have been to the fish hatchery a number of times and we all enjoy feeding the fish and the sturgeon viewing pond. This place has a great deal to offer a family with children of all ages.
I will visit this site again and again for the calm and peace one can experience while exploring the exhibits and the area.

Wow there are some massive fish in this pond, Herman is 10ft long!!! Nice place to walk around on a warmer day- we had snow and it was freezing!

We enjoyed seeing the sturgeon both from the top of the pond and also in the underground viewing area. You get a better idea of how large they are in the viewing window.
