ça prend à peine une heure aller retour et avec une pause de 10 minutes pour prendre des photos. Il y a des marches tout le long donc aucune difficulté particulière.

Nice hike for all. It is a hike. The fall is not right off the road like others in area but very pretty and much worth it.

De todas posibles travesias que en esta zona se pueden esta pasa por ser la mas facil (segun los catalogos). En teoria es una hora round-trip para llegar a la base de una cascada que se ve a lo lejos desde la carretera que pasa por Arthur's Pass. En la practica es un paseo largo (cerca de dos horas round-trip, la teoria es muy optimista) por una camino perfectamente valizado con escaleras para salvar los desniveles, de los que no hay pocos, para llegar aun mirador a la cascada: una vista impresionante incluso son sol como fue en nuestro caso. Con sol ha de ser de quitar el aliento.
Mas que recomendable
Sugerencia, aunque en Arthur's Pass hay un par de sitio para comer, llevar la comida puede ser una buena idea, Existen zonas de picnic en la ruta a la catarata.

This is a great short tramp that takes about one hour return. There are quite a few stairs and uphill climb in the beginning, then a descent before reaching the falls.
Just below the falls there are nice rocks providing a perfect picnic spot.

After a massive bush walk, doing cave stream and castle hill rocks the day before, we opted for a smaller walk to do the punchbowl falls this day. It is still a good workout with lost of stairs and a few people were struggling that we passed. Believe me, the walk is worth is for the view at the end!

A great 20 min walk from the car park near Arthur's Pass , across a gorgeous few bridges and yes up a lot of stairs but if taken quietly and enjoy every stop along the way is a very rewarding walk.

Auf alle Fälle ein Besuch wert. Der Parkplatz ist ausgeschildert. Der Weg hoch zur Aussichtsplattform ist gut ausgebaut und geht über zwei Brücken. Der Aufstieg wird über den wunderschönen Ausblick belohnt.

Waterfall high in the mountains. There are a lot of steps and a path up to a viewing point below Punchbowl Falls. Some fitness is required but well worth the effort.

We went to Punchbowl because the line to park for Multnomah Falls was miles long. Punchbowl is almost to the Cascade Locks. Parking was difficult to find due to Memorial Day but patience pays off. The hike is 2 miles each way. It's a moderate hike with some areas being slippery due to water flow resulting in mud downhill or slippery rocks. There are areas where the trail is very narrow with a sheer drop off on one side. Two way traffic can be difficult at these points. Punchbowl Falls cannot be easily seen without veering off of the trail at two points - both of which have signs stating that one is not allowed to jump or dive down. However, it doesn't prohibit you from hiking the short distance for the great view. We saw quite a few families with small children. Due to the cautions above, it seemed foolish to bring small children on the hike.
