Incredible Experience. We visited the Tasting Room in Florence and April, the girl doing the tasting for us was fabulous. She explained the various flavors , What went into them and how they were made. We left with one of the most unique rums we have seen (Walnut-Fig), Delicious. April made the experience a fun one.

We tried 7 or 8 flavors and types of rum. They were ALL DELICIOUS. The set up of the distillery and vision for the future of the facilities was fascinating. Take a tour. Taste some rum. Spoil yourself with a bottle or five. Fig and walnut tastes like Christmas in a bottle.

Stopped by the tasting room in Bandon OR to taste some of the rum. The young lady working there was very knowledgeable about all the different kinds of run and what to mix them with. Its hard to walk out without taking a few bottles with you.

Although I have no formal "credentials" that might qualify me as a rum specialist, the 10 years I spent living on St. Croix in the Virgin Islands gave me some unique insights. In all my time enjoying fine rum, I have never encountered . a more dedicated team of distillers of fine rum than the team at Stillwagon in Charleston. Their relentless pursuit of the highest quality combined with their unique blendings of flavors, has produced a line of rum that is truly world class. While my personal choice is a simple, dark rum, I have to admit that I have succumbed to their deep rich walnut and fig rum. Sip it slowly and savor one of the best rums that this Virgin Islander has ever enjoyed.

I'm not sure if we had so much fun because it's alcohol tasting, or it was the company. The lady behind the counter was funny, friendly and knowledgeable. Kids can come into the tasting room with an adult and we didn't even get any dirty looks. It was a great time.

It was $5. Very worth it. The dark rum is great with half/half. The pineapple rum is just great. They flavor by infusing, not by additives. Stop in!

Twenty six miles south of the Charlestown Oregon tasting room is their Bandon tasting room. The pirate lady running the joint is loads of fun, especially if you have a sense of humor! Their rum is mostly locally sourced, each one with a unique personality. Vodka made from sugar cane was also unexpectedly good and their single malt whiskey (new) was good too. It was a fun diversion on a Sunday!

My husband and I went to the tasting room in Charleston. It is in a small building with an art gallery. It was beautiful with the bar being made out of carved wood and being hand made. The woodworking was amazing. All made by the owner of the distillery. I just tried two flavors (cranberry and pineapple) of the rum but to my amazement I could drink it straight. Nice sipping rum. We bought a bottle for a gift. I would like to go to the distillery and take a tour on our next trip.

Worth a stop to the tasting room, and to select a bottle to purchase. Ask about their water-saving process for dilistilling. An inovative, and welcome new business in Charleston. Not inexpensive, but a quality locally produced produced product.

The tasting room in Bandon is wonderful. The Rum they make is superb!! Try the mocha rum its delicious mixed in coffee...
