Two nights here midweek in March. I made reservations directly and they matched price given at online booking site. Rooms recently renovated I believe. Hot breakfast included in price with sausage, scrambled eggs,waffles ,assorted cold cereals,yogurt and sweet rolls. Starbucks is next door if you need a good morning latte. Would definitely return.

Just spent a couple of hours playing around in the recreation area. Nice big parking lot with good facilities. The dunes are nice and mostly without unexpected rough areas which makes it nice for my beginners. It goes down onto a sandy beach area which was much enjoyed. I saw lots of camping tents and everyone was being very respectful of other riders. Nice place for a day to play.

We went to Sandbeach Campground and wanted to do the sand dunes, and had a great night. There were a TON of ATV-ers and this was definitely their space, so be careful if you are just jumping/playing on the sand dunes. The camp host was pretty nervous about us having kids out, but we had a nice time. We were there at sunset and it was BEAUTIFUL!

Spent a weekend at the Sandbeach Campground in October. Beach was nice & staff presence was known throughout the morning & afternoon but not invasive. Campground was clean with exception of the fire pits. They definitely need a good cleaning but it is the end of the season so it's nice to see they have been used. Beach access was excellent. It was cold, windy & rainy the weekend I camped so only a few die hard riders were out and noise was minimal. It is easy to imagine this place crawling with OHVs during the summer months.
During my stay, several vehicles pulled in late at night and left in the wee early hours of the morning. One or two of them pitched tents but others slept in their vehicles. I have been camping up and down the Oregon Coast and have only noticed this activity at this campground.

This clean beach was excellent for taking long walks or enjoying a relaxing day sunbathing or reading. There are very few sea shells. You can also drive onto the beach although caution should be taken if you don't have a four-wheel drive. The soft sand could cause you problems.

busy summer weekend got one of last spots on cement, no firepit. flushing toilets, clean bathrooms upkept by host. can ride right down to beach, can even get out and kids can play is sand. 20 miles from tillimook, got to go get some icecream, yum,

We went for a walk from the estuary out to the ocean. Easy to walk and gorgeous! Wish we would have taken a blanket or chairs to stay longer!

Just south of Tillamook, there is a road that one drives out a bit to the Sandlake Recreation Area. We enjoyed our drive out to the area. We also liked watching the ATVs driving on the sand dunes in the area. The area has beautiful coastal sand dunes.
