Mall has "real" quality antiques, not junk. Bright, clean, everything priced. The clerk left us alone to browse but was helpful when I asked to see some gold earrings. When we're in the area again we will definitely visit.

I have been a customer at the Coburg Antique mall (both locations) for over a decade. I bring all visiting family and friends out there to shop. Today I was in and had selected an item that was $8. The cashier was extremely rude and said that it was ‘costing her money’ for me to use my card and they normally don’t run cards unless the sale is over $10 - which I understand. She said that she would allow it this once. I thanked her and told her I was out of cash. She proceeded to take my card from me and began to ring the sale. During this she all of the sudden pulls out my card and was extremely rude saying that it was just costing her too much money and then told me to just take the item. What? Keep in mind that the item I had was $8 - TWO DOLLARS below her threshold. I just took my card and walked away. It was the rudest encounter I have ever had at a shop EVER.

We have gone to Coburg for years to antique hunt. While there are not as many stores as years before, the ones that are there are great. They have real antiques! Found a beautiful antique box on our way down to Grants Pass, but left to think about it. On way home on Monday we were going to take another look at it, but found the antique mall closed. If you go, be sure to not go on a Monday. When we got home I called and asked for pictures of the box which they graciously supplied. Bought it over the phone. Great Father's Day present for my husband. We have bought some beautiful pieces in Coburg over the years and will continue to go back! Heard they have a new shop opening in the future. Great places to eat also! Coburg makes for a fun car trip!

I was loafing along the back roads around Eugene while my wife was at a business meeting.
The biggest antique mall in Eugene was closed and other places were hard to find or had little parking.
I wandered up the road and was very happy to find a zillion antique shops in one little town. With lots of parking.
I was able to kill some time and my wallet! Neat place.

For many years, I have stopped in Coburg as I drive the scenic roads from Albany south to visit family in Eugene. (A nice change of pace from I-5) There is ample parking as you walk around the various shops in this small town. "No pressure" as you look what is being displayed. The shop owners are pleased to have you there.
The annual antique fair is well prepared and presented to shoppers. It is always well-attended. Plan on getting there early for good parking and time to look over all the vendor displays!
