it was a nice find for our 1st 'covered bridge' to encounter and able to walk/bike thru, and if you went thru - there's a nice wrought iron display of a 'train engine' perspective! the self-guided displays inside the bridge told of the history of that particular bridge and the stream below was running clean .

Really nice that you can walk across the bridge. If you are coming from the street side be sure to cross the bridge and check out the large history signs. They are very colorful, informative and well done.

Being a lover of all covered bridges, I never pass one bye. This bridge reflects the dedication of towns people and doners to fund and restore historical treasures. This bridge is a walk pathway across the river to and from town. A park is adjacent with large informational boards explaining its history and restoration. Standing inside the bridge, just imagine a huge locomotive coughing steam in those days gone bye.

We stopped by the Chambers Railroad Bridge on our tour of the covered bridges in and near Cottage Grove. The Chambers Bridge has the best information, both in signage inside the bridge itself and in a series of informative displays on the eastern end of the bridge. This is nice, quick stop to learn about the history of the area.

One of the last Railroad bridges. The bridge is still in great shape and was well built. Don't miss this attraction.

this is a really nice park with the bridge having been renovated with a lot of original wood. it sits in a small park with railroad theme where even the benhes are mounted on old train axle. very nice place to visit
