We are 'parents' of a rescue dog and support rescue organizations AND enjoy good wine so it was a real treat to find on our travel to Washington this lovely winery. We read about Rescue Dog Wine and the dog who inspired it, Ky, and had to stop by. A very nice surprise as their Rescue Dog Wine was excellent, along with their other wines. And our friends who have dogs loved the bottles we brought home as gifts!

The Gilstrap Brothers Winery is so awesome! Warren is a great guy and so warm and inviting you can't help but love him. The dog that inspired the "Rescue dog" wine is a doll as is the other dog. My husband and I had a wedding ceremony there a few years ago and it couldn't have been nicer. The 2008 Magic 45 Syrah is one of the best wines I have ever had. I think anyone touring the region is missing out of they don't go here!
