Until my visit, I didn't realize this was the only olive mill in Oregon. I loved the olive oil tasting at the shop, and the olive oils and vinegars I have gifted have been really well received! I have also enjoyed different oils and vinegars - I have not had one that was not delicious!

The entire Durant family is so special and have built this fantastic place to go for a view of the peaceful Willamette Valley. From the tasting room staff to the really cute gift shop and to the nursery where you can purchase your own olive trees. I always bring out of state visitors to this unique blend of winery and gift shop.

A beautiful place to enjoy a glass of Pinot and enjoy the incredible view of the Willamette Valley. The onsite tasting room is fantastic and the Olive Oils made onsite are the BEST!

This was a nice stop between vineyards but other than tasting the olive oil there really isn’t much going on here. Possibly during harvest season there might be more to see. You can walk to the end of the sidewalk and see the olive trees but it is mainly a store for purchasing items.

They give free tours at 11am when they are staffed, but we didn't get one. They do have a paid tour and tasting which is nice and informative. Tasting is free in the Farm gift shop.

Everyday at 1100, a free short tour around the grounds and into the olive mill gives great information about a process, virtually unknown in Oregon. The Oregon Olive Mill grows some hardy olive trees and sources the rest from California. One each--Spanish, Greek, and Italian varieties--as well as flavored oils are produced here and are available for tasting in the gift shop, which is a treat unto itself. Private tastings are available as well.

We came here to try something different in wine country, other than going to vineyards and tasting wines. We had an excellent experience. Erin (sp?) led us through a private tasting, we got to see the olives being pressed/milled/bottled/etc. And the food pairing at the end were fantastic! Highly recommended!

We went on the free tour of the property and the olive making process. It was nice to walk through the beautiful gardens and olive groves, and fun to taste all of the different olive oils and vinegars. My favorite was the basil olive oil and the orange flavored vinegar, which I bought and am now enjoying at home. After your stomach is coated in olive oil, then head over to the vineyard and enjoy some wine! Haha!

Love the Olio Nuevo Event in the Fall, but a great place to visit any time. The gift shop has a lot of interesting items, plus free tastes of oils and vinegars.

This is a working olive mill, I believe the only commercial olive mill in the state of Oregon. It is a short drive (about 35 minutes) from both Salem and Portland. They have several delicious varieties available for tasting and purchase in the gift shop, along with other local goodies including honey, baked goods, cured meats, and even a small nursery. The views are gorgeous, with views of Mount Hood on a clear day. I highly recommend an afternoon visit!
