This is a great little stop to stop to pick on some fresh made cheese for your wine tasting. The staff is very friendly and the cheese is amazing

We found this along the road as we were driving to the wineries. We stopped and bought some cheese to enjoy with our wine and loved it!! Definitely worth the stop!!

We were tasting wine in the area and read about Briar Rose in a local magazine. They were open (be sure to check first) and it was a fun, quick, tasty, and friendly visit. The owner returned from an errand while we were there and was super friendly and informative about what was going on.
Check out the wall, there is information and accolades ... and some fun comics (similar sense of humor as I have).

Their butterbloom cheese is out of this world. So creamy and flavorful! And the gentleman helping us with the tasting was very friendly and helpful.

A tiny quaint little tasting room. The goat cheese is amazing and is some of the best in the country with award winning feta. The only disappointment was not being able to meet the goats, but the fun we had learning about the creamery process and sampling the cheese definitely made up for it. Be sure to get the chocolate goat cheese truffle for a unique treat.

I stopped here with my sister and was surprised how small the place was. You could look through the door window and see them making the cheese. Just one person was working. Where were the goats? Not there. They are located off site. The cheese was really good and worth the price. I'd go back again but they have somewhat irregular hours.

If you are visiting the Dundee area for wine tasting, make sure to take the time to visit Briar Rose Creamery on your way to Lange Winery or Torri Mor Winery. The creamery is open on Friday and Saturday or by appointment. You will get a chance to sample a few cheeses including a line of cream cheeses. Good little find on our trip.
