A very nice piece of land with some acres of wine grapes which they turn into... wait for it... WINE!
And som me damn fine wine it is. Nice menu, too - an assortment of cheeses, olives, and charcuterie to enhance your wine-tasting experience. They often have have a hot soup or a stew as well. Quite a nice boeuf bourguinon made with their own pinot noir - tough to beat the Oregon pinots!
Also... THE VIEW! If the Cascade Range wasn't in the way, you could see all the way to Bend...
Highly recommend this gem of a vineyard and winery.

Sarner has been one of our favorite local wineries for years, for both the wine, the beautiful location and the outdoors patio. We were here about 2 months ago and had a nice time, servers were wearing their masks, and tables were a safe distance away on the patio to feel safe to enjoy the view with a bottle of wine and a charcuterie plate.
Tonight was a gorgeous autumn evening, so we decided to repeat our summer experience. However, this time the servers are not wearing masks at all. This shows a complete lack of respect for us as their customers and put me on edge for the rest of our brief visit. Even while at our table, one of the workers leaned over the table without a mask to speak into our faces.
I will not be returning until after COVID is completely over. So sad to see such a lack of respect for life.

We ordered a cheese platter and a glass of Rose wine and sat on the patio enjoying the view of the valley. We also bought two bottles of wines for later, their Pinot Noir 2018 and the Sparkling Pinot Noir Rose 2019. nice wine tasting experience.

We stipoed in on a weekday early afternoon and it was quiet. The drive to the winery is stunning and the views from the tasting room beautiful. David Hook was our wine educator. He took his time going over the list of available wines with us then worked us through a tasting based on our preferences. We had great conversation about what we were doing in the area and where we were headed. We decided to order meat, cheese and crackers and drinks to enjoy in the patio while we decided what we wanted to order.
The food menu is perfect for wine pairing but is all individual items. Wished there would have been combination pairings (meat & cheese, etc) - or small charcuterie board options available. We ordered the truffle cheese, salami and crackers and I had the local beer on tap. The truffle cheese was fabulous!
With no shipping to Iowa (not sure about elsewhere), anything we wanted we would need to take with us so we were limited by space and ability to keep the wine cool. We decided on 6 bottles of a variety of reds. Prices are reasonable and we were pleased to be able to take home wine from this region to help restock our Midwest wine cellar.

Sarver is a must for the Eugene area. It's charming, cozy and has one of the absolute best views of any of the area's wineries. The staff has always treated me very well. I do recommend going during the day when the peaceful vibe is strongest. The wine is very pleasing, with a nice variety of delicious estate pinots and big bold reds (grapes sourced from hotter areas.) I am used to spending $70 a bottle for pinot in the Dundee/Salem area but Sarver's wine (& this area in general) is far better priced, especially for the quality. They even have beer -something for everyone. Try their incredible bread with cheese, salami, and spreads - I don't know anyone who doesn't love it.....The Guest House just opened and we were one of the first to stay there. For beauty, peace & quiet, fun, and a little bit of inspiration, it's one of the best places you can stay in this entire section of the state. Lots of space, with lovely furnishings and many amenities and special touches, such as a remote control for the candles above the jacuzzi tub in the master bath and a sound system that will pipe your selected music throughout the house. The place is just beautiful and one of the best things is the incredible view from the living spaces and especially, the back deck. It was wonderful in the dead of winter and can't even imagine how incredible it will be in the summer. There is a huge master bedroom with another little sitting room with doors that open up to that view, a cozy second bedroom with a view of the tasting building, and they have a couple of high quality roll-out beds that you can set up in any room you like- you can wake up to a view of the vineyards. They let us walk through the vineyards as well- it was invigorating. You could easily have six people share the Guest House. My friends were all very impressed and had a wonderful time. Highly recommend. A slice of heaven on earth. Hope this helps!

The wine and venue are great however I have been here about 4 times and I have noticed that most of the employees needs a refresher regarding customer service. They seem to be very busy even when there are only a dozen customers, having personal conversations while I was waiting to get my order in. I also noticed that the male employees are very dismissive, they do not look you in the eye while taking your order. My son and his wife come here a lot for the wine and the view but I rather go to Iris, Silvan and Sweet Cheeks as their employees are very friendly and down to earth and they never make you feel that you are a bother when you come up to the bar and order.

Beautiful location about 20 minutes from Eugene. Great place to bring a picnic lunch or snacks grab a bottle of wine and just hang out and enjoy the views. Not really a location for little kids, but they can come. Great wine selection too. Nice people as well. There was a fire pizza place setup outside. It was perfect with the wine selections.

We had a great lunch at Sarvers the other day. We tried to visit on a Monday but the owners were out wine tasting themselves, so we went back on Friday. The view and wine were great, but the charcuterie plate was a real standout. No stale crackers like we’ve had at some wineries. Hard, warm crusty bread with a creamy Brie and smooth bleu cheese to go with. Best lunch we’ve had since we’ve arrived in Eugene. Lauren was our hostess and we enjoyed visiting with her. Highly recommend!

We had a nice time. The location is great and very beautiful. Unfortunately the experience was a letdown because of the salty staff. Plus no rosé- which is why we went there. Total bummer.
