Free play fridays pinball and arcade . Was a really good time will be going again .:)

Just good old fashioned well drinks and beer. The sketchy looking little kitchen inspired doubt but alas - a delicious BLT! Fun mix of old guys looking for a blast from their past and substantially tattooed anti-hipster hipsters! Fun!

If you're coming to Blairally without a child in tow, it's very likely for one of two reasons: to drink or to game. We go to game... specifically pinball. Pinball machines and arcade cabinets, almost exclusively from the 1970s - early 1990s, serve as the focal point of this artist studio-turned vintage arcade and bar. The food is surprisingly good for a dimly-lit bar in Eugene, even their pizza.
Local pop art lines the dimly lit walls, most of which is for sale. Two vintage ball bowlers are unique fixtures that only add to Blairally's character. It is a popular spot for children's birthday parties, as its an all-ages location until 9 pm. Other highlights include:
- "Free Play Friday" where a number of games are on free play all day. Look for the small card on each game that indicates you can keep your quarters in your pocket.
- One of two locations that's home to the "Emerald City Pinball League" as well as weekly pinball tournaments on Wednesdays -- if you live in Eugene and like pinball, you really need to check it out.
- Location: a block away from a handful of food carts and the Ninkasi pub

Ordered a couple of cocktails and instead of telling me the price of my drinks the bartender chose to blindside me with an obscene tab of $16 per drink. The same cocktail would cost only $9 at any other bar. When I asked about the price I was told they charge for the shots in cocktails as singles and not a whole drink. If you order anything besides beer or shots, be wary!

This is a cool place to spend an hour or 2. Lots of free video games and my personal fave, pinball. I could have spent hours there but I was with a spoiled video game addict that didn't appreciate the nostalgic vibe. Definitely will try again.

I took my 63 year old husband on a date night and told him we were going somewhere "different". I had seen photos of Blair Alley on line and thought- "ok- let's try it". The building is so non-descript from the outside, but open the door and WOW- lights, noise, families-- just a happy place at 6 pm Friday evening. Families with children were having fun with the bowling lane game. (Thank you Ms. Bartender for filling a sippy cup with juice while the parents enjoyed some beer- how nice!). We just had such a fun time on the pinball machines, skeeball, arcade games. Full bar and small food selection allows for adult beverages and snacks. My husband raved about it all weekend. We will definitely return!

We stopped off at Ninsaki brewery for a tasting and saw this place around the corner. We brought our 5 and 7 year olds in and they loved it! It was free play Friday and 1/2 the games were free! The machines are all super clean and there are rows of vintage pinball games. I wish I could have spent the afternoon in there, but we were just driving trough Eugene. Thank you for creating epic memories for my family!

I love retro arcades. I grew up with 3 pinball machines and various table games in my home, so I seek out good pinball machines especially. My fav more contemporary machine is Elvira, but I digress...
Blairalley is a really big arcade that has what a lot of these newer retro acrades don't - SPACE. Some places are very tight. I understand you're going to get bumped when you're playing in a bar - but if their main point is the games, have space for goodness sake!
They have a ton of older pinball machines here. I was in heaven. My favorite was Centigrade 37. (Perhaps a play on Fahrenheit 451?) Many 80's games as well.
Food and cocktails - but I didn't really care about those. Great for kids and adults and definitely worth a stop for enthusiasts. Fun for the causal game player as well.

This bar is just a wonderful, casual place to hang out . . . but if you like playing pinball or vintage arcade games, this place is a must!
The pinball machines are always clean and working well--maintenance crews work hard to have the games running all the time. Full bar, fun menu (the house-made pastrami sandwich is fabulous!), and friendly bartenders. Unpretentious and fun. My favorite bar in Eugene.
