If you're looking for a book, look mo further. I can honestly say, I don't know how they wouldn't. Two floors full of bookshelves and stacks of books. A bibliophiles dream.

Thousands bookstore takes up two floors of a large building. Part has s separate entrance for collectibles and comics. Bold are organized by subject such as astronomy, men’s health and fiction by subject matter mystery, science fiction.
All categories are alphabetical by author.

What a gem! Lots of old books to brows through. Friendly staff and plenty of books to sort through. No parking...have to find street parking but worth the effort. Books easily labeled and plenty of step stools to use to reach the high shelves.

Kind of reminds me of a minature version of Powell's in Portland. 2 stories of books stacked to the ceiling, new and used. All genre. Separated by subject matter.

Probably the largest used bookstore in the west outside of Powell's in Portland. Well organized with broad selection of books in every conceivable category. Another much smaller but not to be missed used bookstore in Eugene is Tsunami Books on Williamette Street.

I am so amazed by how many books are in this store. Every time I come back there is always something new!! I love all the vintage finds this treasure as and I can honestly say this place has renewed my love for reading! If you are looking for books that are rare finds, books that are in great shape, and something for everyone, this is the place to go.

If you love books, then you MUST stop at this gem. There are two locations, I sent to the one just off 5th. Wonderful two stories, great staff

Best and biggest bookstore in Eugene. There are so many books to choose from it's hard to take in...at least for me, someone who loves all kinds of books and wants to buy them all.

Two locations - campus and downtown. Tremendous volume and knowledgable staff. Plug your meter well because you'll browse the time away. Truly one of the best used bookstores in the northwest.

Eugene is a fine little community thanks to the immense University of Oregon nearby, and one of the true delights of a "college town" is the prevalence of bookshops like this one. We're talking real books here -- books on PAPER, not CDs or silly electronic doodads. Its aisles are bursting with volumes, both clothbound and paperback, and I defy anyone over the age of eight not to find a book to their liking if they would just hunt long enough. The staff is young, nerdy-hip, knowledgeable and very helpful. The prices are very reasonable.
Their sister store, on Willamette Avenue about half a block from the Eugene Amtrak station, is even better. Stacks of books, piles of books, veritable mountains of books! I discovered this venue when, waiting for my train, I realized I didn't have a book to read for the journey. I thought I might just skip inside and pick something up, but there were SO MANY wonderful volumes in this tiny shop that I almost missed my departure! Worth a visit, even if you aren't taking the train somewhere. There are cool-looking cafés next door and across the street, the perfect spots to sit down and peruse your purchase.
