This place has so much.
In the back of the store is their garden department.
In the main part of the store is housewares of all kinds.....cards and wrapping paper....interesting ceramics.....just so many choices for gifts too.
I'm a big fan of their greeting cards. They always have really nice ones from which to choose.
There is simply too much here for me to do it justice.

Wandering around Eugene, I stumbled into Down to Earth.
Friendly, knowledgeable staff, and a wonderful assortment of kitchen items.
I left with a new proofing basket and salt and pepper grinding set.

a treasure of a well known local shop. Memories of my hippy days in the late 60's. The prices are competitive and the merchandise is innovative. What more could you ask?

A wonderful store that has a large selection of kitchen ware, unique clothing, healthy non-GMO plants, large selection of gardening supplies & if you are looking for a gift for that person who is hard to buy for - this is the store to shop at.

On an annual trip to Eugene, we stop and peruse, and always walk away with more than we intended. Fun kitchen/bath/garden store with all kinds of things to look at.

There are too many cool things in this store for one visit! From canning jars to cooking utensils to pet care to plants and everything in between. Love this place!

The Olive Street Location is a the former Farmer's Union Coop (built 1923) and Down to Earth has been there since 1986. Cool place to wander- housewares, candles/gifts, critter support (bird seeds, pet foods, bat houses) and a strong inventory of fertilizers, seeds, garden tools, pest control, soil amendments that are all Earth friendly. A place to find something that you weren't actually looking for! A small nursery provides plant/garden sales. Parking can be problematic on a busy Saturday. Well-known locals coffee shop (Allann Bros.) directly across from the DTE building. The other branch on Willamette offers a similar but smaller inventory in a rather charmless building but super nice sales folks.
