This Farmer's Market was such fun to walk to and to walk around. The setting on the river was great as a destination in itself. The vendors were so friendly! I have to say the Garlic Vendor was so nice -- after I told him that I was making spaghetti sauce one night in our rental cottage he picked just the right garlic for me. And I may never happily buy cantaloupe again in the supermarket since buying just the Most Perfect cantaloupe from the Vendor at this Farmer's Market.

Interesting shops, ice cream, gift and restaurants in this area of Florence. The bridge area and the Port of Suislaw made for a great afternoon.

When in anew town I always love to visit their open market! It’s great to see all the foods and wares of a new town, see the locals and local produce.

Si tratta di un classico mercato con banchi che vendono un poco di tutto, dagli alimenti all'artigianato, abbigliamento, frutta e verdura, a volte qualche stranezza fatta a mano, tutto carino e piacevole, ma la cosa più bella è la posizione vicino alla riva del fiume, atmosfera calma e rilassante. Vale la pena anche solo per fare una passeggiata senza fretta, basta poco tempo.

This farmer's market has a nice variety of local produce. The vendors are very friendly and helpful. One of the best farmer's markets in the area. I would recommend going there.

Such a lovely man and his family run this seasonal fresh fruit and veggie market.
He is generous with sweet samples of lush and sweet peaches and nectarines mid summer. He opens in May and closes in October. Settled at the beginning of the boardwalk along the lapping Siuslaw river.
If you're really fortunate you'll see seals and other aquatic wildlife along your stroll.

Been here several times and it is hit or miss of the vegetable/fruit stand. Have had just the best stuff and other times not so much. Friendly staff running the place.

Eeww! Florence is such a sad place. Trying so hard, but just doesn't cut it. Worst town on the coast, don't bother.

The Rhododendron Festival was on, we enjoyed the regular shops, and the carnival with all its entertainments.
Also, only 14 miles from the Sea Lion Caves, a really fascinating place to visit, as well as Heceta Head, a lighthouse, which is still in use, has tours, nice walk to get to it, worth it.
