Customer service. The front desk need to have some manners when they speak to members. They treat members as if beneath them.
I was nearby so I stopped to ask questions about my new membership. A lady with sanitising spray came in my face and said YES. Shocked. I'm here to make an inquiry. She said about WHAT. Ridiculous attitude. I said: membership! And then she pointed where I have to go.
She was so rude to an extent I felt nauseous.
And I still haven't even used the facilities and was there to ask how to frikken book online over their complex thing called website, and I already want to cancel.
And after I was done with the other front desk lady she was like and now you can go look, like I'm her puppy going to fetch.
Comparing this park with their horrendous customer service and human-treatment to say 24-hour fitness is like comparing the stone age to the 21st century.

As seniors, we pay annually what our daughter pays monthly at another gym! This is great value! My wife swims while I push weights in the gym. She also takes aquatic classes. This really helps with her breathing difficulties.

This review is only for the park and not for the aquatic center.
I enjoy coming here with my kids to play at the playground. Two areas, one for little kids and the other for bigger kids, are separated by a concrete strip with many benches. There’s a sand play area too. The playground is colored in green and brown so I like this natural feel blending in the natural background. There are many picnic tables and benches throughout the park. There are a few bathrooms though they are closed in winter.
This park has plenty of parking space which also for the library next to it. This library is super kids friendly! As you enter the building, there’s an open kids area with low shelves and kids size tables. There are many computers with headphones as well. The library put out a cute scavenger hunt for kids.
When you need to have your kids run around at a park and relax inside reading some books, I recommend this park and library in one location.

Always great, membership is a good deal, stuff is very helpful. We have never had a bad experience at this facility and we come year round.

Everything about this is average. They seem to not have a handle on patrons who are out of control. If you are in the area and need a pool, I suppose this is it. If not, don't go out of your way.

This Hillsboro Aquatic Center is a wonderful resource for young and old. Whether for swim/exercise classes or just for an enjoyable swim, the pool, weight room, locker rooms and entire facility is very well maintained and always clean and ready to use. The outdoor pool is an added plus in the summer months because the pool can get busy when school is out........This is a great facility year round.

A great place to get out of the rain, stay warm in the heated pool, and if you're a parent and just going to keep the wee ones alive... they have comfy seats and you can even sit on the other side of the observation windows to get out of the humidity and loud noise. love it!

Even as a visitor to the area, check out SHARC and the near park (Shute Park), library and senior center. All, except SHARC's free but SHARC's worth it for fun and exercise: yes they have a weight room with exercise equipment and numerous classes. At 62 years of age I go there regularly because of the affordable one year pass, and the facility's convenience: hot tub, pools, sauna and more.

I've been volunteering with someone at Shute Park it's pretty fun, they're very active, and lots of families and action. The prices are reasonable. There is a large variety of activities to choose from.
