McMinnville air show 0n 7/31/21
WORST show we have seen and We have been to a lot. It was so boring they make people wait 40 minutes between demonstrations there was maybe eight ask the whole show any with the Thunderbirds which was the only thing worth seeing. No big planes that people go to to see the shows. People don’t go to the show to see biplanes in cropduster‘s. We are over priced over $200. Will never go to McMinnville again

Not the most crowd friendly show but the performer line-up was amazing and overall a great show. Good food, good views, and a fun time.

I’m a pilot. Live on a Grass runway west of the Hillsboro airport. When the Blue Angles come I can nearly read the pilot names on the cockpit as they usually fly over our area as a turning point. But there are trees so we miss most of the action and buy tickets to enjoy the show at Hillsboro.
The Friday night show is AMAZING but if the Blue Angles are in the year you go see the Saturday or Sunday show as the Blue Angles don’t do the Friday night show.
They always have a great show, with good food. If you are a pilot I’ve had pilot friends say it’s faster to get home if you fly in/out. But I will say it’s fine usually parking near the field and walking in.
Parking at Intel or S of the field (fairgrounds) usually work great. BUT CHECK THE WEBSITE!
Bring sunscreen & hat and water as if it’s sunny you will want it. Great time every year. Highly recommend.

This is full-on airshow with planes, stunts, and little of everything for the family. Worth the price of admission. It was so much fun in 2018, I went two days.

This year the Canadian RCAF Snowbirds put on a great show. The RCAF also had several other aircraft and crew. Not to be outdone, a USAF presence was also felt. It gets bigger and better every year.

Defiantly worth bringing the whole family this is a show for all ages the show was amazing and worth the trip will come again in the near future hope the Blue angels will come next year!

Are you kidding me ? Charged food vendor $350 electricity power fee for 3 days event? I am not sure how other food vendor do it..

If you like air shows then you can't go wrong by coming to this one. Sometimes can be quite hot and shelter is at a premium.

Tradicao anual ja na cidade de Hillsboro e regiao, ocorrendo sempre no verao pelos ultimos 30 anos. Fui com minha familia pela primeira vez esse ano e foi uma experiencia bem legal. Alem dos shows aereos, sao montados varios estandes com atracoes e curiosidades ligadas a aviacao e ao atividades militares. Ha tambem varias barracas vendendo comida.
Para chegar mais perto dos avioes em solo existe uma taxa a ser paga, mas apara quem quer apenas ver os avioes voando, da para assistir ao show de varios locais na cidade.

I think you should get a hold of the city of Hillsboro or a local VFW POST FOR information on up coming events?
Where would a person park and view the show if I can't afford admission?

One option is to pack a snack/lunch and head East on RT-26 about two exits. You'll stark to see people in lawn chairs along on the North side of the road, exit, find the access road, join them. It's not necessarily a block party or anything, you more or less stay near your vehicle, maybe chat with a few.
