There is no maximum age. We regularly take guests in their 60s an 70s. If you choose to ride in an oar boat while on the river not much physical fitness is required. Below our our "essential eligibility requirements" that layout the minimum physical requirements: - Wear all protective equipment recommended/required by industry standards, including personal floatation device (max chest size is 56”), shoes while on water and when appropriate, a helmet. - Enter or exit the raft independently or with the help of a companion. - Be able to manage all personal care and mobility independently or with the assistance of a companion who accompanies the participant. - Remain seated and balanced with the use of adaptive equipment, which does not fundamentally alter the activity, if necessary. Adaptive equipment cannot impede nor lessen the effectiveness of the safety procedures or equipment. No one may be strapped nor belted into a water craft. - In the event of a capsize, get out from underneath the raft, remain face-up in the water with the aid of a personal flotation device, and recognize and make progress towards the shore.
