Cute little winery in historic house, sitting on the top of town. We shared a bottle of Harriette, sat on the porch, and enjoyed the view.

Tina gave us a knowledgeable and fun wine tasting. We discussed wine and food pairings and the mansion in which the wines were made

Sorry, I had a poor experience. Love to revisit. Was crazy Monday. Waited 30 min for a table, 20-30 min between tastes. Waited 15 min at check out before leaving. Tasted x2 drinks. Wanted to try all but had to head back. Too busy to check out... but tried. Let me know when I can come back for last 2-3 tastes and make reparations. Not trying to bail, just didn’t have 3 hours for a taste.

We did the red tasting which comprised of 1 pink and 4 red wines. The pink was dark in color and was very refreshing and easy to drink. Next was the Pinot Noir which was very full bodied, then was the Gomez which is a blend of Petite Syrah and Grenache, which we bought a bottle of. The last 2 were Italian style wines, the first is one of the few that make this style of Sagrantino and the last was the Primitivo which we preferred of those two. The hostess was very pleasant. The tasting room affords a great view from town in the oldest house in Hood River. The tasting was $9 each and one was waived for the bottle we bought. If you want to visit an off site tasting, this is the place I would recommend.

My wife and I like going to these eclectic places, especially when they have a lot of history. We went here on Oct. 11th. The lady at the front was very informative not only about the winery but about the old historic building as well. This is well worth the hike up the hill (not that far).

We had a lovely wine tasting experience at Stoltz. The gal who led us through the tastings was new to the Winery but she definitely knew her stuff! And the home is very interesting and great to see that the integrity has been maintained. We are anxious for them to offer a wine club!

It was fun to learn about the history of this beautiful old house while tasting excellent red wines and a wonderful Chardonnay. We sat outside and enjoyed the view of the Columbia River. The host was very knowledgeable. Excellent wine (did I already say that?).

This somewhat restored funeral home provides a neat venue for wine tasting. Good wines in a fun atmosphere. Nice hostess. Worth a stop.
