Drove up tonight and it closes at 6pm, and a sign says “No Trespassing when closed.” Saw some bikers go in anyway. Cool drive up thru orchards tho!

This has always been a place to stop when I'm in Hood River. It's best when the clouds are out of the way and you can see all the way to Mt. Hood. But even if the clouds have the mountin hidden, it's stilll a good place to stretch your legs, breathe in some fresh air and use the bathroom.

Free, nice attraction with a beautiful view of Mount Hood and the surrounding area. You can see the farms and surrounding area, worth the short detour.

Dropped by this area today and the gate was open to drive in! Great views of Mount Hood in the backdrop while upfront are the green farmlands and orchards. No trash lying around the bathroom area and plenty of parking.

The gate was locked for the season, so we had to hike from the entrance up to the shelter. Not a biggie, but anyone physically challenged may not be able to do it. This is one of our favorite viewpoints of Mt. Hood and the valley. Especially when the fruit trees are in bloom. Not overly marked to find, but when you do, it is a scenic site to spend some time.

I haven't been to Panorama Point in some time as the last time I looked it was closed. But, if and when I do have guest, it is a must stop for the vista and photo opportunity.

The park is closed. You can walk up through the gate and see the view of Mt. Hood but everything is growed up and there was garbage everywhere when we were there. There is also a private resident up there too. You can see Mt. Hood from the highway just as clear and stop at some of the orchards to also see the mountain and meet wonderful people,

Park is "closed" but you can still park by the gate and walk in. Excellent views of Mt Hood and pretty views of the fruit orchards below. The drive to and from is very scenic.

The park is closed due to budget cuts, you can park outside the gate and go inside. Go up the stairs to the view point.
