the famous writer''hemingway'' was there....this whole stretch of the north umpqua is great....hehingway also was at the steamboat inn....did a lot of fishing.....

Nice, easy hike. Beautiful falls. Great little place to Wade in water. Picnic areas. Bathrooms available, but not very clean, smelly.

We enjoyed the short hike into Susan Creek Falls, but the falls themselves were incredible. Susan Creek and Falls Creek Falls are our favorites in the area.

Great short hike to a pretty waterfall! Not many people and very easy walking. Would definitely recommend to just about anybody. The trail is very easy.

Wonderful walking trail with an easy hike to the falls. Along the sides of the trail were signs describing the types of trees and plants which we were passing. Very educational. The fall was beautiful. Unfortunately a thunderstorm was rolling in so we had to make our trip quick. There were benches along the trail where a picnic lunch would’ve been nice to take. Beautiful scenery =a plus. While in the area, we stopped at “Little Falls” which was very close. The rocks were easy to get to (parked on the road near the falls) and we enjoyed viewing the nice rushing creek. Go see both if possible - a nice “several hour” outdoor adventure.

Most of the falls are easy to get to, but this is the easiest one. Stay at the Umpaqua RV Resort, because it is close to many waterfalls.

Easy hike from the parking. There is another parking across from the waterfall parking. From there we walked to Tioga Bridge, wooden pedestrian bridge. That was a nice walk too.

this falls is great and you can take your stroller all the way. i wish folks would suggest when hikes are stroller compatible

There are so many waterfalls nearby that are wonderful including this one. This has the most accessible trail.

We got to the actual day parking lot and were a little too excited and didn’t actually look at the map. We just started to hike and hiked all along the river on the trails only to come to an end it was not the falls. We double backed to the car and we saw that the parking lot for the falls was actually across the street. Either way both sides were gorgeous!! The falls were incredible! It was my first time as an adult being right there with in an arms length of a waterfall. Definitely worth the long hike if you make the same mistake we did otherwise the hike to the falls was pretty easy.

Yes! The Susan Creek Campsite has a trail that leads you to this waterfall. It's also within a driving distance from Watson Falls and Toketee falls.
