if you are near there the food is beyond excellent, and to stay there is a real treat. the inn was built in 1861.

The Jacksonville Library has excellent staff, a decent selection of books and magazines, a number of computers and the cleanest public bathrooms in Jacksonville! The staff goes out of their way to remember names & goes above and beyond the call of duty regularly.

The residents of our little city helped plan and raise funds for this library. It is a treasure. You will find beautiful relevant displays in the front window. We also hold many community events and club meetings in the Naversen Room.

This fairly new Library is a very nice addition to the little town of Jacksonville. Centrally located and plenty of parking.

Our children love this beautiful new library. We go for the afternoon to read picture books together on the couch. They have a huge wooden train table, a nice lady with art projects, and frequent kid workshops. Wish we weren't tourists so we could join!

It's located in the heart of town and has computers available for travelers to check email, etc. The hours are limited unfortunately. It's a nice, new building and has a nice atmosphere.

I love this place; yet, it has odd hours. What I appreciate is that I can go on line- order my books - and pickup what I need :-) Nuff said!

With two art exhibits, one in the front showcase as shown and another in the large "Naverson Room" which rotate monthly, high end yet low cost music events which provide funds to keep the library open on Saturdays and a surprisingly wide variety of titles, it's a great little library in a charming historic town.
