We drive for about 40 minutes to shop here for fresh veggies and fruit. This year has been a great one for super tasty cherries, blueberries, and other stuff. The green beans are excellent. Ranier and Bing cherries are so yummy. The blueberries are huge and delicious. (Are you ready to eat yet??) They've had eggplant so beautiful it should be in a painting. Plus the prices are so reasonable for most things. I highly recommend this place for produce.

What can I say. . . It’s amazing! I visited there today, at my husband’s insistence, after he ran across the produce farm while out fishing. The tomatoes smelled ripe and full, squash, onions and cabbage were perfect. I went home and started to cook a southern meal tonight of corn bread, pork and lots of fresh vegetables in honor of my Grandmother. Oh, and fresh blackberry cobbler for a perfect ending to a very special day.

We've stopped at Laurelwood many times to buy produce. It's always fresh and there's usually a good variety. Sometimes it's payment on the honor system, other times they have someone available to help, and that person is always VERY helpful and friendly.

Stopped by here because of signs on the road. I never pass up farm stand signs if I can possibly stop, or move on up the road a bit and turn around. This tiny, crowded place has plenty of good stuff, all in season, and the season is longer because some of the fruits and veggies come from CA, and who knows where. I know they don't grow avocados in Oregon (yet!), and the strawberries were those huge delish ones you can buy in CA, so whatever their arrangements are, they bring stuff in, and they also grow their own. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Tastings abound for just about anything that you want to try. We had cherries, melon, strawberries, and more. Prices are fair, and one of the first things that happened when we went in, was that one of the staff came out with a huge broccoli, said they had too much of it, and would we like to have one free. A great feeling of generosity here. Some organic offerings, some local, but not all. This is now my stand-by veggie place. Just don't go on Saturday, as that is their Sabbath and they are closed.

Fresh produce three seasons of the year. Well worth the drive. Tomatoes, cucumbers, five types of squash, onions, garlic, Gravenstein apples, plums, pears, swiss chard, grapes, corn... and that's not all. Perhaps it's all so scrumptious because the farm is located along side of and soaking up the nutrients of the Willamette River Self-service - select what you want, then put your money in the jar. They trust us! Produce is ranked according to first quality, seconds, canning/preserving/baking quality.... If time permits, the farm managers offer you and your kids a ride around the campus in a four-wheeler. AND, the proceeds are funneled toward providing stellar education to high school students.
