Took my teenage daughter to see her first drive-in movie as a bit of a history lesson, as drive-in theaters were even a rarity when I was a kid. Projection was perfect and the audio was via your car radio. There were three movies but we only stayed for the first two.

We have been going to this drive in for years. It's always a great economical family and friends activity. The screen and radio broadcast for the sound is good. The concession stand and bathrooms could use a bit of work and updating.

Going to a drive-in reminds me of my childhood when the family would climb in the car and head to the drive-in to watch movies. Fond memories! There are so few of these left in operation that everyone should go if they get the chance. The La Grande Drive-In always shows at least two movies; usually one for younger audiences first, and one for grown-ups second. The snack bar has lots of goodies; both hot and cold. Many folks come in a caravan with their friends and their kids, and have a picnic before the show starts. All you really need is a car radio! My only complaint is they sometimes start the first movie before it gets completely dark. I never let a summer go by without going to the drive-in!
