Here in La Grande killing time while my friend takes the MCAT at the testing center. Wandered in to the shop and was greeted with the warmest hospitality. Given some water to drink on a hot day, and got in to a wonderful conversation with the owner. She's a lovely human being, and you're sure to find some cool stuff here. I found a vintage Hawaiian shirt with a cool paisley pattern.

This is a very charming antique boutique where you can find wonderful unique things at excellent prices. You will be so glad you stopped in to view the interior of this charming shop.

This wonderful mid century antique shop is located in an old house with a very well kept yard. You will be greeted with treasures as you walk through the gate and on the path that leads to the front door. There will be an abundance of flowers in the garden and antique wheelbarrels set with flowers of the season.
Entering the house you will be greeted by Alma Jane herself and offered a cold water or coffee and often a home made treat. Each room has a theme with some mid century coats (all cleaned and looking new), jewelry in the front room, wonderful kitchen items in the kitchen, the linen closet will be stocked with mid century linen and many old full and twin sheets in original packages. There is a sewing room stocked with mid century sewing machines, all of which have been serviced and ready to use. There are sewing supplies, laces, fabric, anything you may need. There is a small room of child supplies, such as doll beds, toys etc. The last room with a full bed in it with items in the room as quilts, ladies slips, shoes.
The entire house is sparkling clean and dust free and smells like the country air. It is such an easy place to browse because it does not have clutter everywhere but is very organized and easy to find items. It is such a delight to visit and I always seem to find something to purchase.
